Why does it cripples him if its a melee fight?

If he is faster than them, stronger, more durable, he should be able to beat them.

Yes, I did make this thread due to the Gorgon thread because honestly, I thought I could have been under estimating Spidey but you all are not convincing me that I was wrong since Gorgon is physically above anyone here and he would win every match that I put up.

He can't stick to things here which is aside from his increased stats one of two super powers he has (the other is the Spider Sense).

EDIT: Do me a favor and post the whole fight of Wolverine and Elektra with Gorgon then I show you what I mean.

An injured Gorgon BLITZ them DESTROYING them before they get the chance to move another muscle. Look at what Wolverine say during this blitz (damn he's fast).

The funny part on those scans is after Wolverine and Elektra gets stomped... look at what Wolverine say while he's on the ground (when Gorgon blitz some shield agents)... JEEZUS.

So what is it that you are trying to show me?

What knowledge of Gorgon had Wolverine before this attack?

Cause he thinks "How many powers is this freak packing?"

Or moving so fast people with superhuman reflexes couldnt track his movement. Or post random feats of dodging dozen lasers from tracking device, going through a helocopter's roter twice while carrying someone, dodging bullets after they're fired, dodging a group of heroes/villains etc or going through a gauntlet of hundreds of supervillains. As long as it helps.

Stops at 7 , Wolverine has comparable speed (combat speed), better damage output, better durability and that pesky HF.

but to get back on topic, No Spiderman cannot replicate ALL of Gorgons feats, yes Gorgon would beat him in a standard forum rules fight. Yes Spiderman would have a hell of a fight with just Elektra alone with sais, no he wouldn't be able to do what Gorgon did to Elektra.

are we redefining the term great MA fighters to include Kingpin, osborn and random fodder and none established MA lvl metas?

Not Osborn, Bullseye, he's a great fighter.
There's no fodder at all. There's an upgraded bloodlusted Shang Chi, Iron Fist, Kraven and Hawkeye who has displayed crazy MA skills. Also Taskmaster and Domino, all are trained MA fighters. Taskmaster is a real beast.

And while im at it, here's a scan of Spider-man while trapped in time going through hundreds and hundreds of battles with super villains.

I'm aware of these feats and you are acting like I am saying that spiderman is slow... that's not what I am saying. Spiderman has speed but to think that he is above wolvy is ridiculous when overall wolverine has similar feats. By the way... did spidey have his spider sense in those scans.

so no..Kingpin isnt a great MA'er anymore then Luke Cage or Spiderman is b/c they have a particular advantage in a fight.
