He knew pretty much. I'd say his HF and damage soak were a surprise.

just compare how spiderman does against comparable enemies and you get your answer...

both Wolvie and spidey have fought the same villains in melee that alone should be all you need to make an informed decision the problem is some ppl dont want to acknowledge the results.

hell you got wolverine fighting both DD and spidey at the same time..

hell, if ppl werent so bias you can use the fight results between spidey and wolvie to acknowledge the regular winner or who comes out on top..

Because he didn't know that gorgon would tank a stab to the chest by him and elektra like that. They both were aware of his stone stare, speed, and strength but during all of his fights, he basically ran through everyone that he encountered, so that stab was the first time gorgon was hit.

He got shot right before he stomped Elektra, IIRC.

That's kind of different than getting stabbed in the chest by 7 blades and then still having enough speed to trounce both logan and elektra.

Spider-man has dodged an upgraded super fast super strong Shang Chi while holding back. He defeated Blade in 3 pannels without getting tagged once. Speed Deamon, can think of at least 3 times when Spider-man kicked his ass and surprised him with his speed. Venom, never seen Brock even try to use his speed against Wolverine, so doesnt matter. Then there are other characters like Puma. Who Logan admitted moved so fast he couldnt even think about using his claws (note, that happened BEFORE the poison had any effect on Logan) Wolvie even compared Puma to Sabertooth as far as I remember (And we all know Creed is faster than Logan). Spider-man has beaten Puma several times, dodged his claws etc. Iron Fist? The same guy who deflected bullets right back at the shooters but unlike Gorgon used his bare hand. Couldnt lay a finger on Spider-man in both encounters. Took him a cheapshot. Deadpool? Fought Logan, cut people to pieces so fast they didnt see him move, even dodged a bullet after it was fired. Couldnt cut Spider-man. But its the a>b>c logic anyway. I go by speed feats and encounters, and they suggest Spider-man is faster.

Ive been called biased before but only by people who dont know me well on the forum. Jinzin and BH know me better and they'll confirm that im not. Because I said it years ago, and i'll say it again. In a CIS on 1 on 1 fight I give Wolverine the majority over Spider-man. The fact that I aknowledge that Spider-man is still faster than Logan doesnt make me biased. It only means ive looked at their seperate speed feats, their encounters and fights and know what im talking about.

I do not think that you are biased but I do think you are very confused. Spidey isn't blitzing both wolvy and elektra at the same time... especially not an injured spidey. Spidey has faced elektra more than once and lost each encounter whereas gorgon seen elektra as childs play.

Spidey isn't gorgons equal... not even close.

Does that make spiderman slow or wolverine faster no because I'm not affraid to say that gorgon is much faster than logan either.

Gorgon however is a whole different topic, so maybe i am. But tbh Id rather see how it goes in a comicbook to make up my mind, I just dont like to apply the abc logic. I also believe its just a matter of time before Wolverine defeats Gorgon by himself, Gorgon is more or less a new villain. And that's how it goes in comics. Daken has blitzed Logan in their fist encounter. Not so much when they fought later.

I'm pretty sure they will fight again also and they fought solo before and wolverine end up winning...he made gorgon own power turn on him BUT before that happened logan was getting stomped by gorgon.
