I'm wondering this myself. Did I miss somewhere that it stated that Thanos was upgraded? I mean he was immune to death because she would not have him, but so is Lobo. Does this also somehow mean that Lobo would beat Tyrant?

Thanos is a lot more powerful and he's unkillable and since Odin trying to kill him before didn't even ko him Thanos would kill him very quickly imo.
