I would chose thor over all of them. He is just as versatile as surfer and he is just as strong, if not stronger than supes. He is the entire package in one.

In seriousness, the Surfer only really has this kind of problems against Thanos. It could be due to Thanos' higher level energy resistance. I don't know. But in terms of brute force, the Surfer has been shown to be just as powerful as Thor is. Especially his current incarnation.

Also, the Surfer has MANY MANY things that Thor can't do. Matter manipulation, cosmic senses, the ability to shrink/enlarge himself, healing, etc. There is just soooo many more instances where Surfer's versatility can be used to solve certain obstacles.

Besides, I selected Thor to stand beside him. Those two would be totally unstoppable.

Mjolnir is supposed to be able to do most of that, but Thor hasnt done it in decades.

I've read Thor all my life. Don't remember him doing matter manip at the level the Surfer has. I've never seen him use any kind of high level senses and I've never seen him heal or shrink/grow before (correct me if I'm wrong pls. 🙂 ).

His respect thread has decades old scans of him creating anti-matter and transmuting elements. I cant recall if he has done size alteration.

I know he's done limited levels of matter manip/transmutation. What I said was the he's never done it at the level of what the Surfer has done. 😛

I agree with a number of things that you've said but I think both are as versatile as the other. There are things that thor is capable of doing that surfer has as of yet to show and thor energy output is more powerful than surfers. Mjlonir is just generally more powerful and this was shown when surfer and other herald was unable to protect galactus but beta ray bill was able to save him.

In regards to healing, yes, thor can heal people as well. Surfer has some "decent" showings of h2h combat but nothing impressive... if he was to fight someone like konvikt or someone similar in a fist fight, I could see him getting crushed eventually.

Honestly, I think having surfer and thor on the same team is kind of cheating and pointless if you ask me. Those two really wouldn't need partners. What is it that they wouls need as back-up? They already have everything at their disposal.

I wouldn't put them on the same team, it would basically make the others useless.
