Just bought my copy, the couple of weeks until it releases are going to be murder since having finished most games I have been playing recently and having gone through Dark souls to death I am pretty bored, ah well....
I dunno. All of those characters look pretty hideous, imo. Wouldn't want to play as any of the women.
On the other hand, it does look like you can at least make someone decent.

I think thats just the facial expression and shader they have used on that example. Most of the faces look very similiar, just slight changes in colour from race, i think when you do it yourself you could probably make better looking characters.
