Thanos defeated him. It doesn't matter if Thor is ko' dor not but iwth the power gem it's understandable.

Maker is and so is power gem Thor.

Larfleeze never beat a team like Surfer, the infinity watch, and classic Strange.

Maker can only beat a weaker Thanos when his guard is down when he's ready he stomps her.

He'd absolutey annihilate Larfleeze.
