Odin isn't clearly beyond Thanos. The guy was being auctioned off by an army of ants, broken by the dark gods and again held prisoner till Thor saved him, fearful for his own son against Hela early on, etc.

Thanos has tanked blasts at his best from Omega, Galactus, the incomplete ig, power gem Thor, etc. Thanos is above Odin.
