Rulk killed a rookie Surfer who was unaware of the full extent of his powers and had just become Galactus's herald. Context. The current Surfer we all know and hate would probably disintegrate Rulk or rewrite his dna from the other side of the planet via matter manipulation.

I could post feats, but they'd be the same ones everyone is already familiar with. This comes back to interpretation I guess. You put a lot of emphasis on stuff like "nuke-like" explosions, but I honestly find beating the hell out of Silver Surfer a more impressive display of striking power.

Wolverine has hit people far faster. Deathstroke has numerous of showings with him tagging the flashes, spiderman, hulk, the list goes on but that doesn't mean that they are hitting goku, even at his weakest.
I disagree about surfer being more durable against blunt force trama. He can't withstand what goku can withstand in a fight, especially when we have showings of ironman dropping him... ironman wouldn't even register to a dbz character.

What does any of this have to do with surfers durabilty which is what rulk bypassed? I know surfer could destroy rulk since he IS much more powerful, that's not my argument. My argument is, rulk killed surfer with the same durability as current surfer in 2 panels.

Didn't silver surfer board get ripped to pieces along with him suffering damage from a blast from magus that shedded some planets? Frieza alone has power capable of doing this so your argument was pointless... it didn't help anything.

The fact that Rulk accomplished that by draining Surfer's powers and diminishing his formidability. There's a precedent for that as well, actually (i.e., The Enslavers Arc; When Surfer gave up half of his power Mrungo Mu was able to crack Surfer's glaze as Surfer was no longer at full power. The lower Surfer's power reserves, the lower his durability apparently. Rulk absorbed his powers outright). The Rulk instance has context.

Do you think a surfer that is depleted of all his energy (kind of like what rulk did to him but it was never specified on how much energy was taken), do you think his durability while depleted would allow him to survive planetary destruction?

Showing him tanking things that would disintigrate freiza.
Freiza doesn't have the durability or physical strength to put thanos down. All he has on him is energy projection (which thanos has massive durability against) and speed.
ANd its in freizas character to try to toy with him. Freiza would do this then proceed to have his neck snapped.
