Odin vs Molecule Man

Started by Badabing10 pages

Proving a negative is a fallacy, for the most part. There has never been anything I've read, seen or heard which says Bob has no soul. If someone makes the statement "Sentry has no soul" the onus is on them to back up that claim. Since most living beings have a soul in the MU, the statement/claim that Sentry has no soul is extremely speculative and without merit.

Provide proof of Sentry's lack of soul or concede the point.

even if he does have a soul there is no proof that it can be manipulated...every attempt at destroying void has failed...what make this all of the sudden work?

the only way he loses is to bob...which has been shown many times

My point is this most living beings can't decide when they die and when they come back making him an anomaly. The whole reason I brought it up is because he's unlike any other character I've ever seen in comics.

That's another fallacious argument. The onus is on your side to prove that Void can resist soul based attacks. We know Odin is capable off and has resorted to spiritual based attacks.

All of the attacks used against the Void thus far have been physical based. Morgan blew him up, and Molecule Man tore him apart to his bare molecules.

The most exotic attack used was Morgan's magic, and IIRC that kept him dead for like the rest of the fight. The quickest he came back was against Molecule Man who blew him up into a few chunks. It seems the more extreme the death is or exotic, the longer he stays dead.

Provide the issue number where he attacked someone's soul to win a battle before he defeated them.

The magus is the dark aspect of Adam warlock and goddess the good...

When Adam warlock and magus fought as a result of the soul gem magus ended up in soul world... As a result of being an aspect of warlocks personality an not having a true soul himself.. Magus was forever doomed to a lifetime in souldworld as a being who could never be able to interact with the other souls there... Warlock however could...

Whether bob or void is the true aspect of sentry... Both should be able to be sent to soul world...

I Challenge anyone to say void is not an aspect of sentry...

:-P

Your turn.

My issue is when your body dies your soul cannot return back to living by your own means. The Sentry/Void can and has so even if he has a soul I highly doubt anyone Odin level or lower can manipulate it.

It's not in character for Odin too anyways and is a desperation tactic for rage to give Odin the nod over the Void.

Stay on point. My post was specific. I don't care if his soul can or can't be manipulated. Try to understand the difference between a mod debating and a mod "modding" before posting. Thanks.

Edit: And everyone needs to stay on topic. Odin vs Molecule Man.

Well iirc Odin ought with mangog who was the embodiment of the souls of billions... Anyone remember how that went. I can check the Thor issues some other day if anyone knows them or if mangog was directly manipulated in the issues though I don't think he was.

I don't remember Odin trying that tactic against someone that would e considered on his level.

Yes, please pm me the issue numbers and let's try to stay on topic here at this point.

MM wins.

:-( baba posted while I was typing that sneak!!

When we see Void like beings yes we don't assume a tactic will work when he's actually resisted the MM's powers and death on panel.

That he rarely uses.

Scans or issue number ?

Odin's force empowers Thor and the rest pretty much so it's easier for him to manipulate theirs than the others just like Galactus.

Physically destroying his body couldn't kill him. That doesn't translate into being resistant to spiritual based attacks.

Viable.

Thanks to Imperial.

I didn't reference Thor. I referenced Loki, and the race that spawned Mangog. I'm not actually sure how Loki's relationship is with Odin. His not an Asgardian or of Odin's ilk and I can't recall of any instance pointing to the Odin Force empowering Loki. His power seems to be derived from his giant heritage and his knowledge of the Dark Arts. If you have any evidence to the contrary however, feel free to present it.

He evens says stripped of his asgardian heritage that's why he can do this to Loki. he says it right on the page. Odin has dominion over Loki and Thor alike.

The second scan is him undoing Mangog's being in general which doesn't have anything to do with the Void since he isn't a billion souls formed together.
Now if you want to continue this bump the appropriate thread so we can do so.

Now back on topic.

Your claiming void has no soul. Prove it.

Not the proper thread for this and I conceded the point for now.

I will close this thread and warn people if this talk of void continues. This is the second time I've had to ask people to get back on topic.

*Sigh* Loki is always referred to as an Asgardian. This is a result of his adoption long ago. He is not related to Odin or Asgardians in anyway as far as I know. You know this.

😬 Mangog is purely a spiritually/metaphysical entity. At least during the Silver Age. He is a being that is empowered and grows with exposure to rage/hate. What, do you think Odin shrunk his race? It was outright stated IIRC, that Odin destroyed Mangog's race. Which I guess was limited to the physical.

Edit: My bad, I'll get back on topic.
