And bob was what allowed the heroes to win...
Not the helicarrier to bob
Then what did the hellicarrier do? It would inflict major damage on anyone.

It blew up.

So now you are comparing now the explosion of the helicarrier to an assault by a contingent of superheroes who in their own right have mountain or planet destroying power?

It was a piece of the plot device needed. Bob appears and says to finish him. Showing the many other examples of sentry void reforming from other other devastating attacks.. Try and explain how the helicarrier could do what Noone else could... None. Bob was self defeated. Attempts at arguing otherwise show you didn't bother with the context of the story. Or recognize his various appearances over the past several years

And I'm still waiting for an explanation as to where you got your numbers from

well done

Not saying its a low feat. I mean being hit with 30 billion tons at a couple hundred MPH isn't a low feat.

Okay then to be more specific. Where did you get that the helicarrier is 30 billion tons, and the falling rate was around 200 mph. (couple obviously meaning two...)

He won't get it I have explained to him this before but gave up because he doesn't understand.

Only ones I see beating Voidtry in a straight fight is anything that can soul trap. Physical attacks should do diddly unless they're reality breaking punches but you could count the number of beings that can do that in a normal fight with your fingers and toes.

When has anyone ever beaten Void due to trapping his soul ?

Has anyone ever failed?

If not you can't claim it won't work.

The burden is on the person who made the claim. Not me. That's how it works, sport.

If someone argues that Odin beats Sentry by soul trapping, the onus is on you to prove that it won't work. We've seen Odin effortlessly do it to immortal souls like Loki.

No, it isn't. Void is a special case anyways trhe guy can only die when he wants to die. Most normal things won't work on Void and there's never been any mention of him having his soul manipulated. LOL. Void also ripped Loki in half with no effort when he wanted him dead. Shows you how powerful he is.

Yes it is. Void can return from being physically destroyed. That does not mean he can die only when he chooses to.

Stop being so fallacious. You can't assume something doesn't work on a being. And I don't have to show you Void's soul being manipulated. The onus is on you to prove that he can resist the attack. So?

Let's just get a mod ruling. I'm in no mood to run circles with you.

Prove Void has a soul that can be manipulated I mean when has odin ever manipulated anyone outside his sons' souls or random earth schlubs. It's like saying Galactus alters Mephisto's soul because he tamped with Norrin's. It's just a terrible argument with nothing behind it and you can't even prove this tactic would work on the Void anyways.

I have to prove Void has a soul? What?

Remember Silver Age Mangog? The rage incarnate of a billion, billion beings? He was nothing but an Odin spell. An entire race compressed into a spiritual form of rage. Odin also effortlessly destroyed Mangog, and recreated them. Manipulating spirits and the like is something Odin is adept at apparently.

The onus is on you to prove the Void can resist Odin manipulating his soul.

Depends. Norrin is just a single dude empowered by Galactus. If Galactus has greater feats, or Mephisto has proven vulnerable to such attacks, it's a viable tactic I guess. Of course, I think the gap between a Mephisto that can challenge Galactus and Galactus, is much smaller than the gap between Odin and Void in regards to power.

Yes, prove Void has a soul.

Ok, what does this prove other than Odin can destroy Mangog and recreate him ?

No, it isn't and when has Odin ever in a battle won by manipulating a soul first ? When ?

The point is characters who give themselves and make themselves vulnerable to greater powered beings who supply their power isn't the same thing as someone who they don't supply their power to.

So now we assume beings don't have a soul or some spiritual essence until shown?

That Odin has vast control when it comes to spiritual based attacks.

Loki.

Supply their power? What?

When we see Void like beings yes we don't assume a tactic will work when he's actually resisted the MM's powers and death on panel.

That he rarely uses.

Scans or issue number ?

Odin's force empowers Thor and the rest pretty much so it's easier for him to manipulate theirs than the others just like Galactus.
