I'm pretty certain that it was revealed that they were woven into the fabric of the Black Galaxy in order to acquire the proper ingredients needed in the birthing of the Celestial or something similar. The Celestials were actually containing their bodies in physical canisters until Thor broke them free and they reverted back to normal.

I remember that FF 175 marvel got heat from that bad a$$ writing. Odin feat is better his dark self was absorbing the powers of Infinity itself.

I'll have to read up on the fight. If it was impressive, I'll give the Evolutionary his due.

Fantastic Four 175? Wasn't that the issue with Counter Earth? I remember something stupid like Galactus dying from attempting to consume Impossible Man's planet, turning into a big brain then dying or something.

If he fought the Evolutionary, it must have been incredibly brief for me not to remember it.

which fight? g vs HE? if that's the one you're talking about, it wasn't impressive in the least. g actually dodged a blast then ko'd HE with one shot. terrible story. g wanted to absorb counter-earth. not sure what would have happened had the blast hit. doesn't matter. classic HE couldn't definitively beat apocalypse.

odin wins this one handily. HE has next to no feats to put him beyond trans i don't think.

Thanks for the confirmation bro. I remembered Galactus owning someone in the beginning, but I didn't remember it being the Evolutionary.

I agree, I haven't seen anything to put him above Trans. Frankly, I think his around Thor level.

agreed, my post was also meant to highlight that in theory the guy is very powerful, but his on panel feats is lacking at best.

high evolutionary wasnt knocked out by galactus blast by the way, he just got knocked across the universe, he came back a few panels later and cured galactus hunger by devolving him
