Me too. DC's events have been slightly better than Marvel's, IMO. I think this will be good.

Pretty much all events drag on. DC or Marvel.

DC alot more these days.

I think these events should be a little longer, anyways. The average event is like 7 issues and a crap load of tie ins. I think 12 issues should do it, because they pretty much end in rushed manner.

Anyway, this event could be good or it could end like all the others. Time will tell.

Sounds interesting but I'm not currently reading Flash books -and frankly, getting rid of Wally sounds annoying to me-, but if the books are good right now I could start.

They're not really getting rid of Wally. he'll be in a new book called Speed Force. Flash has been pretty fun, but not great. Reverse Flash is bad ass, though.

I think that events should be two books a month and about 10 or 12 issues. Tie ins tend to be somewhat better because the narrative is either compressed or stalled so it fits the "event" length. I would rather have events that read like 52 than what we are currently getting.

i hope since this will have reality altering effects that they will use it to "fix" the dc universe. I also hope that since this has reality altering effects that they won't milk an "alternate reality" story line later....im getting sick of all of these other universes.

A few weeks back, we posted an open call for questions about FLASHPOINT with promises of answers to come. This week’s question comes from THE SOURCE reader and frequent commenter fhiz:

“ Johns wrote that Booster Gold was the only ongoing to tie into Flashpoint, so where does that leave his book, The Flash?”

Great question, fhiz. While the effects of FLASHPOINT will be felt throughout BOOSTER GOLD even after the series concludes, we can’t quite say the same for THE FLASH past issue #12… Why’s that?

Issue 12 will be the final issue of THE FLASH.

Wonder if they'll re-number the series or something.
