Ah, yeah, for me it was a bit like Naruto, the first few episodes were droll, had to really try hard to get through them. But the longer the series goes on the better it gets. The writing, the fight scenes, all of this stuff just kept getting better and better.

I will say the last several episodes are nothing short of EPIC and deserved to be seen on a big screen.

But I could DEFINITELY understand not having any investement in it if you couldn't get through the first half dozen eps or so.

Agni Kai for the throne.. yeah tha was epic. Dont forget Toph's blind jokes.

Great story, Kung Fu, fireballs and Mark Hammil as the main bad guy. What's not to like?

Good Lord.

I thought nothing could top Fisk beating Wayne...until I read the "dozens of people are smarter than Batman" comment facepalm

Off-Topic: The Avatar anime was awesome though Aang should've killed Ozai.

P.S. The live action movie was almost as atrocious as Dragon Ball Evolution.

I know... it's sad. Kinda like learning the truth about Santa Claus the first time around, isn't it? The end of innocence...

I guess this is a bad time to mention that prime Bruce Lee would've been rocked by more than a few guys in today's competitive fighting sports.

I'm sorry... ermmsrug

tehe

Bruce Lee... lmao

I'm sure he's just so much better than the masters that lived hundreds of years before him, not to mention saying he's quantifiably better than more contemporary martial artists is absolutely laughable

Bruce Lee said himself that a year training in boxing, and a year training wrestling would allow someone to destroy traditional martial arts who had trained for decades to master their crafts. That's what the UFC is, wrestlers with boxing / kick boxing back ground, some kung fu clown like Bruce Lee would get railed by almost anyone active in MMA today.

sorry, one last thing. Don't forget that all the bending is specifically modeled after different schools of Kung Fu. One for each of the bending types. And all the fights are choreographed under the guidance of a Kung Fu master. They even brought in a master just for toph's style of earthbending, modeled after a rare school of mantis, I think

Boxing and wrestling are the BANES of traditional martial arts. Ma's are all about stance and boxing and wrestling force them to break that stance, leaving them to flounder.

Well, to be fair, that is IF Bruce Lee didn't improve his art in today's scene, I believe he would get wrecked, yes.

Bruce Lee was a brilliant martial artist and prolly had one of the fastest reflexes of his day (even now). He'd be quite competitive in today's MMA scene IF he has the same MMA knowledge as is readily available now and was given a good training camp.

Edit. Tho I really don't know how this has any relevance to the KP vs BW fight. Wrong Bruce, pplz!

Also, Avatar was awesome (not the movie version tho), whats legend of Korra? Pm me about it plz! 🙂

i dont believe that Bruce lee could compete with the more known competitive fighters due to the fact his jeet kune do would violate too many rules and hamper him causing him to get his @$$ ripped.

in a street fight he would have a real shot at beating and killing/maiming anyone of them due to no restriction. a broken shattered knee, eye gouge or purposely aiming to kill punch through the bridge of the nose, Maxilla or trachea..

but the same could be said if anyone had the killing maiming mentality in todays world it is very rare to find some one with that mentality usually being military combat trained men with that mental mindset and not just any but specific ones.

I agree with this.
