Okay!
Then you all head to the Great Gate to meet with the Captain and his hunting party. The city walls themselves are incredibly dense fortifications from an earlier era, composed of stone with metal framework. Men patrol the walls and operate the portcullis that will be your entryway into the dangerous Vorkutan jungles.
Near the Great Gate is the hunting party. The Captain and the Lieutenant, armed and equipped and all, are accompanied by five men with an assortment of blaster rifles (all Mooks). Your new allies are not sure what to make of Useld, who is eager to get into the jungle but not really the fighting type, but they don't ask questions.
"I hope you all are ready for what will probably be the most dangerous moment in your short violent lives," the Captain says with a hearty laugh. "Except you, old squid," he says to Rand.
"You would be surprised, my friend," Rand replies. He has activated the Mecrossan probe to serve as a scout; it hovers just above and behind him, twitching back and forth. "We have had our fair share of danger and come away with our lives and more. This will be no different."
"We'll see about that," the Captain says, smiling widely.
It is a few moments before the patrolmen get the gate open for you. Once it is, you head out into the jungle that everyone has used the word 'dangerous' to describe about ten million times since you arrived on Vorkuta.
There is nothing particularly notable about the jungle other than the denseness of it all. Trees are close together and the space between them is filled with oversized exotic plants and fungi and vines. Your movement and sight will be very limited unless you come across open spaces.
And it all just looks very... tired. The colors seem muted and you don't see any wildlife yet, though you can all sense it.
Is it anything that feels dangerous, or just general wildlife?
Rianna's just going to feel for danger, since she already knows that her senses aren't good enough to pick out individual things in a jungle like this.
"So long as the plants aren't sentient or carnivorous..." she says as they start making their way.
"Just try not to touch anything," Useld responds to Rianna. And no, nothing immediately dangerous.
The Captain is walking around the perimeter outside the wall, looking for something. He finds what he is looking for in a tree marked with blaster scorches. It indicates where a barely noticeable path through the jungle has been made through frequent use.
"This way to the Trap," the Captain says before marching into the foliage.
I need to know the order you want to move in. The path allows you to walk with two side-by-side.

Hmm.Galder and the Captain, Rand and Dak, Rianna and Useld, Xavier and the Lieutenant. That'd probably be the best.
Oh, and the mooks...I dunno, pair them up between us, I guess.
And Rianna won't touch anything, unless it attacks her first. Then all bets are off.
The hunters will fall in next to Xavier and behind, leaving the Lieutenant alone at the rear as he means to be.
-
Galder is up front chit-chatting about kills and battles with the Captain.
Rianna- Useld seems to be rubbing something on himself. It smells awful.
Dak- Rand wants to know what you make of your 'allies.'
Xavier- the hunters are impressively professional about this. Even if the Captain is loud and boisterous, the Lieutenant and the others are very quiet.
