You all crowd into the dark, damp entrance to the old Jedi Temple. Its stone halls are unlit, and you are deep enough in the forest that light is having a horrendous time penetrating the dense gray mass that is the jungle's canopy.
Not to mention that sundown is coming.
You can sense Sael somewhere ahead.
Lightsabers are enough light to see by.
The halls are reminiscent of the Jedi Temple's lofty open corridors, but overgrown with moss and vines. The odd creature scuttles out of your way and off into the darkness. Molded frescos of great Jedi heroes line the hall. Despite the appearance of the ruins from the outside, the interior is oddly preserved.
You follow the corridor until it opens up into a large central room. It is still very dark. You notice that the roof is missing from this place, and in the center there are great gnarled trees clustered together.
You are approaching the center. The grove of gnarled trees is quite obviously dead, with their branches totally bare and the bark flaky and dry. They are unbelievably twisted at odd angles.
You all sense... something...
"The Holocron!" Rand says, moving forward. "Look!"
Between the trees you can indeed see a dim glowing object upon a pedestal.
Dak enters the clearing, slipping through the gnarled trees.
The Holocron is BIG, Dak. Having never studied at the Jedi Temple, you haven't seen many of these things. But this is bigger than you would have imagined. It is half your height and glowing a deep red. It has intricate layers of crystal matrices all meshed into a five-sided ornate shape.
You feel drawn to it.
