Rianna, you find that you are incapable of flinching.

Dak- as with Rianna, you find this totally absurd. He just took a lightsaber through the chest and performed a feat that you're not even sure is possible!

Rallo neatly pulls himself off of Rianna's lightsaber.

"Now, if you want to fight, I'll give you a fight," Rallo says, smugly.

"Try to overwhelm him," Galder says, brushing himself off. "He's only a man."

Dak will slash a lightsaber at Rallo's chest, intending to bisect him from shoulder to waist.

Do you want Nuvar to accompany you in the fight?

For the rest of the Jedi present- namely Xavier- you sense overwhelming danger imminent! And it is coming from above.

Rianna senses it as well. However, she is incapable of movement and will need rescue unless she can concentrate hard enough to break through whatever effect has been forced on her.

Rianna has Inner Calm, that should help her resist this.

It will be rolls to steadily work yourself free while events continue around you.

Fun! But okay.

Rianna- despite being unable to move, it becomes pretty apparent what the new threat is. As Dak and Nuvar move past you to engage Rallo in battle, a mortar drops down and explodes nearby. It will be the first of many, and the explosions begin to separate Dak from the others.

It will be Agility rolls to move out of the blast zone! But I want to know where you intend to move to.

Rallo rather calmly assumes a fighting stance, raising his gloved fists.

"I'm with you, Master," Nuvar says.

THE BATTLE, Start of Turn 1

Temple Yard

Rallo: 0

Dak slices at Rallo's raised hands, trying to end him without killing him. He uses his speed to his advantage, leaping away with Charge to move to safety and give Nuvar an opening.

Well, Rianna's going to continue to try and break free of Rallo's hold...

Rianna makes her first roll and gets one success! This could take awhile...

Agility rolls are made for the others. Galder takes Coll and Tilith and retreats; I will assume Xavier does the same. They all pass, with Galder rolling the worst and Tilith the best. Mortars plummet and burst all around you.

Brath actually moves TOWARD the explosions, and his Master. He passes his roll.

Dak goes in for a strike on Rallo, with Nuvar just behind. As before, Rallo intercepts each blow with his hands, and faint crackles of energy outline his fingertips. His Defense reduces Dak's pool to 8, and one success is Parried by Rallo's strange tactic.

Nuvar is a little hopeless and is reduced to a pool of two. No successes rolled, he misses Rallo entirely as the Sith Lord sidesteps him.

As Dak pulls back out of melee range, he is surprised to find Rallo raise his hand and eject a sphere of fire from his palm! A Force Attack on 14 dice (after Defense is accounted for), the Sith rolls five successes only and the ball explodes against one of Dak's lightsabers. The heat from the blast is enough to ignite Dak's robes and does 6 damage.

Xavier looks to Galder, "Something is wrong here. He is doing things that are impossible. We need to figure out who and how he is doing this."

Rianna is going to keep trying to break out of this effect, and mentally she's plotting how she's going to beat the crap out of everyone else for not helping her 😛

(okay, maybe not so much on that last one, but she is a bit unhappy and more than just a tiny bit nervous)

Must be those mortars threatening to fall on you!

We'll just wait on Dak, here.

Dak discards his smoldering outer cloak, plainly shocked by these events. "What is this trickery?"

He leaps in again, igniting his second saber and unleashing a flurry of blows on Rallo.

Spend a Force Point on Flurry.

It will be your action to put out the flames, Dak. Doing so anyway?

Aw, that's a shame. I'll put out the flames, then.

Rianna gets three successes on her next roll, for a total of four.

Brath comes tumbling through the blasts toward his Master.

Galder and Tilith manage to pull ahead of the explosions for now, but Xavier and Coll find themselves caught in one particularly large burst from a falling shell! They are thrown down and take 10 damage apiece.

Dak brushes out the unnatural flames that alighted on his robe, while Nuvar finds himself unable to land a strike on the Sith Lord.

Rallo laughs contemptuously, then lands a kick on Nuvar that sends him flying through the air and rolling along the ground.
