Bane vs Caedus

I still haven't read DOE yet. Does he do anything really uber? Whats this "pure dark side energy field" thing?

Bane wins anyway in my humble opinion!

I would put Bane, revan and kun ahead of caedus for starters, not counting the ancient sith.

N. and Kreia as well. Remember, there is no known defense against their insta-kill technique so Caedus can't defend against it either.

It happens in DOE. He is on top of a temple on Prakith (wont tell you why he goes there) and some randoms attack him. He just stands there, gathering his power while they approach, shortly after, he creates a field of pure dark side energy that, when entered, saps the life from everything, and ages them by (i assume) thousands of years (from the descriptions) normally, makin one would tire him out INCREDIBLY quickly (he doesnt have to be a t a nexus to do it) but the deaths inside of it reinforced it. Thats why the GAG are there. He then went on a rampage through the temple.

um, weren't those tribespeople with sticks?

I have trouble putting Revan above Caedus.

Well, if we judge by force knowledge alone, Revan>>>>>Caedus.. Caedus hasn't really shown me anything other than CIS.

CIS? Isn't Revan's entire story CIS to be fair?

And we certainly really shouldn't go by force knowledge alone considering that Luke has had probably the least formal force knowledge of any Jedi in history.

I would say Revan's story is really PIS..

wait, what do you mean by CIS, i've always just associated PIS with CIS,and pretty much let them be interchangeable.

n/m i googled it.

they were pretty close, to be fair. We can't hold CIS agaist character's in VS forum, or they all lose, all the time. I mean, Sids got thrown down an elevator shaft while screaming for crying out loud. I mean, why didn't Yoda just use the force to crash Sidious's pod into the ground for that matter? It would have killed Sidious on impact maybe. Luke is a case-study of CIS in every single new book...

What is the difference between PIS and CIS? I can't separate the occurrence of character stupidity from an umbrella of plot stupidity.

That's a good point.. Giving Caedus magical powers as soon as he chose his sith name is an example of CIS but also PIS..

no question his magical powers were stupid, but they were there, just the same. just like his third hand is actually canon fact. sadly.

Yeah, Caedus' third hand is the epitome of PIS.

lol, i did just blank vader... yeah, put him in front of dooku and shift them down. Lumiya disappears from the list. poof.

1. Sidious
2. Caedus
3. Bane
4. Revan
5. Exar Kun
6. Nihilus
7. Marka Ragnos
8. Vader
9. Tyrannus
10. Zannah

Blanking Vader was just wrong...
Anyways, I'd say thanks to his ridiculous drain N. should be in top 5 for sure.
Also I see Bane above Caedus.

Btw. I always wonder about Krayt, how does he rank among other Sith?

Plot Induced stupidity is when a character acts artificially thick for the purposes of teh plot. Example: Superman suddenly forgetting that he has superspeed and can flick someones head off before they even think of pulling the trigger because otherwise the comic would be over on page one. Stupidity Induced by the plot.

Character Induced Stupidity is when something plot-relevent occurs because a character is thick. Example: Superman forgetting that he has superspeed and can flick someones head off before they even think of pulling the trigger because he is an incredible idiot. Stupidity Induced by the Character.

Yeah, Caedus' third hand is the epitome of PIS.

Actually thats WIS:

Writer Induced Stupidity. Example: Superman forgetting that he has superspeed and can flick someones head off before they even think of pulling the trigger because the writer is a complete ****ing tard. Stupidity Induced by the Writer.

I'm picking Caedus for this one.

Why would Superman flick someone's head off when he can show how much he is made of steel?

It's a hostage situation, obviously. 🙄

DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH!

This has actually happened in a comic actually, except it was a knife, muuuch slower than a gun. Man Amazon's Attack sucked willies.
