No it not at all. There opinions are not better then ares. The show is just like animal face off which also was terriably inaccurate. The show had a lion beating a tiger the majority of the time. This is completely contradicts numerous historical documents as well as numerous videos and leading experts opinions.

Just becuase it on TV does not make it true.

LOL i haven't seen any videos of a tiger killing a lion 😑

ive seen videos where CAGED puzzy lions get smacked by a tiger and run off 😬

but a wild male lion probably would win 7/10 the lions mane prevents kill bites from the tiger

sorry about off topic post continue on

Exactly, so early Middle Ages, it seems like you were only using this time period in your example of knights.

And even then the Dark Ages aren't as bad as it was depicted years ago. The lack of culture did not even encompass the entirety of Europe.

Sorry I was, I should have been more clear.

You are correct, in fact there far better then what originally was believed. Also was the cause of different religious movements like Deeism.

Something does not have to be killed to lose the fight.

Puzzy lion? That was a haft barbary lion which was the largest lion to every walk the planet. It got beat on by a female tiger.

No it wouldent. Tigers are stronger, faster and bigger. Mane does not prevent kill bites, this is very inaccurate. Tigers have no trouble biting through hair, muscle and bones with ease. A mane would not prevent any such attack. In fact the only evidence of lion mane does is actually cause the animal to over heat faster........

depends on the time period. High middle ages yes, the earlier middle ages not so much.

I was referring to the earlier middle ages or dark age. I should perhaps have been more clear.

Katana's were made prominently from the 1400s to the late 1500s, at the same time swords made in European were being made with much higher quality steel. Not sure why you are comparing iron swords from the 1200s to swords made two centuries later.

I think Tigers are bigger than Lions on average.

Mane would scare the tiger and also make it harder for tiger to target vulnerable parts...ie the jugular or airpipe

a male lion would shred a tiger

A mane...scaring a tiger?

😂

Just because it on TV does not make it true.

pointing out the inaccuracies of another show doesn't make this one any less valid. while who would actually win between warriors may be up for much debate, they do fairly accurate tests on the efficiency on the weaponry. They do have more knowledge on the subject than the majority of people on this forum I would say.

tigers are pussies

in the wild wins come from kills 😬

puzzy lion = lion that does not know proper killing moves & is fed by humans... NOTHING to do with size dude 😬

a manes sole purpose is to prevent kill bites dude
its not a matter of strength, speed, or reflexes
which a tiger doesn't overwhelm a lion in anyways 😬
but wild cats go for the wind pipe for quick kills
a tiger would not have a accurate location of a lions neck 😬

LOL sorry im right dude

You are correct I am an idiot. For some reason thought they were made in in 7th century. But I am 100% wrong and aplogies to everyone. I was talking out my ass clearly. As stated earlier my knowledge on samurai are is not exstensive. I simply study mostly European middle ages.

My billionaire friends and I put on lion vs tiger fights.

The tigers always win.

well, scaring might be extreme...but it does instill fear in other animals

it makes the lions look more ferocious

also, tigers are stalkers, not fighters. male lions are born to fight and defend.

we've all been there 😉

IIRC medieval europe huge weapons were designed to break bones and lodge the chain rings into the flesh because they couldnt actually break through the mail. I have no idea if a katana could cut it, but I'd guess it can't. Of course, katanas aren't the only type of japanese sword.

Siberian tigers are much bigger than lions.

Male Lions leave the hunting to the females amirite?

Also, Tigers survivie on their own in the wild while Lions live in packs or whatever they are called.

No they don't in fact rarely end in kills

Tiger was also fed by humans, try again champ

No it not. There zero documented evidence of this. In fact they believe it for mating purposes.

Actaully each one of those area's factor into fighting

does not need and accurate locations, it powerful enough to snap a lion neck in haft.......

No your not at all. I am gladly battle zone you just to prove how wrong you are.

yup, they're less efficient hunters, being better built for quick, explosive combat. they do contribute to the pride by scaring other predators off from their prey. lions are big time scavengers.
