yes he was pierced...but it may be because the demon amp had weird effects that otherwise would not be in effect

I think even if there's no direct implication that Logan's strength/piercing power was amped the fact he was exhibiting different powers while possessed would cast uncertainty on how valid that feat is to regular Logan.

Omega Red is vastly stronger then demonic Wolverine.

I completely disagree. In fact NC takes that same blast and is not even completely KOed untill he hits the ground. Wolverine is also KOed upon landing. And so was colossus.

What point was that?

yes, he used the same attack on NC. It was never suggested or implied to be different attacks. That just wishful thinking on your part.
