Breast feeding in public

It seems that everytime I watch the news there is always something going on making this a big issue.I for one has no promblems with it being that I had seen it done in the cafe I work at.But others think it is wrong and should be againist the law.What do you think?

I have no issues, but I generally don't have issues with public nudity either

i have a problem with selective enforcement of the law and what one considers lewd, indecent exposure or even a sex crime...

so if a woman can breast feed in public which i dont thing they should, it should also change what constitutes a sex crime/sex offender

why shouldn't they? who the hell cares if a woman slips a nip? especially considering they are feeding an infant child. if you find that lewd, you might do better in a culture like Saudi Arabia

I think so long as they're discrete about it there's no problem, done right a woman can nurse a baby without giving anyone a peek.

Its a free country, they should be able to breast feed in the public. Hell, people should be allowed to have sex in the public.

I don't mind if they're used to feed babies, even in public.

It's a totally natural thing to feed a baby. You feed them when they're hungry that's just the way it is and to make it some dirty thing doesn't make sense. But as usual there are people out there that just love to knit pick. Maybe they are the pervs...

problem is that what is okay for one particular group is not okay for another who may perform a similar act minus the baby even it is natural biological process.

Outlawing public breast feeding is not only ridiculous but you're also depriving infants of food when they need it. It shouldn't even be an issue.

But I guess this is so foreign to me because I'm from a country (Sweden) where you can see full frontal nudity on day time (and prime time) TV.

In 1997 I was cuffed in Las Vegas for peeing in public, in The Luxor parking lot. I was calm and respectful, and I wasn't that drunk, so the officer let me go with just a verbal scolding. My then-wife, however, caused a scene and was giving the cop all kinds of attitude. She was telling him things like "Why are you hassling him, go get the real badguys. There's killers and rapists out there...etc". And our friend and his wife were so shitfaced they were staggering, in fact, he had vomit on his pants and could barely stand. I was afraid I'd be taken down to the station, simply due to guilt by association.

So it really depends on the jurisdiction, and the individual officer's discretion. Vegas Metro has always been pretty chill though; they're among the more laid back cops I've dealt with. But don't piss in public in AZ; first time offenders must register as Level 1 Sex-Offenders. No jokes.
