What? A slower guy actually can parry some attacks of the faster opponent, that doesn't mean he's his equal speed-wise. Thor stated his speed was inferior. What more do you need?

Wolverine connected with Thor a minimum of three times (and threw two more attacks Thor managed to block), and dodged several Thor's attacks before Thor finally managed to lay a hand on him. How does that not translate into Wolverine being faster than Thor? Thor even stated Wolverine was faster... Wolverine even stated Thor was slower than Creed... it's not a huge mystery.

And then Thor proved that statment false by being able to hit/block and catch Wolverine.

You and I fight. I throw five punches, three of which land, two of them you manage to block. You throw three punches, I avoid all three of them, but you manage to catch my foot in the exchange and throw me. Who's faster? It's pretty obvious.

Plus, their motivation or a difference in skill can easily explain one side landing more hits....unless of course he's admitting that Thor is at least equal in skill to Wolverine.
