gorgon is actually stronger than wolverineby couple times, fasterthan wolverine by couple times... so why is it so hard for you to understand he cuts harder than wolverine couple of times? when gorgon and wolverine faces gorgon stubbed wolverine in the throat but get this he stubbed him so hard that the sword went all the way and penetrated a freakin concrete wall which wolverine couldnt believe , and you really think he cant cut poor thor that wolverine made crying about some rib slash? 😆

BTW, I completely predict one of three things happening:

(1) optic_blast!! ends up whining about how he doesn't have to prove Thor wins a majority (he somehow already explained, etc.);

(2) optic_blast!! ends up retracting his admission that Thor wins the majority; or

(3) optic_blast!! starts explaining (with little detail, of course) why Thor gets the majority, but since it completely dispels his running diatribe, he cries bitter tears mid-way through his explanation, hits the "submit reply" button and proceeds to shoot himself for having been caught in this catch-22.

i really dont see any point to your actions its already clearly visible that you cant prove your so called statements and non of the people on your side can so this is a simple trolling from your own part, i have stated already that right now i am discussing gorgon and i am defending gorgon and right now my statements remain untouched so once again in case you have serious comprehend issues you either disprove my statements by proving thor can at least match that kind of speed or seriously get lost because its clear as sun youare trolling this thread

BTW, ODG and everyone else on the Thor side agrees with you that Gorgon loses the majority. So there is nothing to prove, as nothing is being disputed.

After much personal diliberating I've decided that Thor and Wolverine have comparable combat reflexes but we don't have any conclusive evidence that either are superior to one another. We have one direct comparison which clearly shows Wolverine is faster. That must count for something considering that, based on the rest of the feats from both characters, a clear consensus has not been reached nor is any clear consensus obvious.

Thor can fly three times the speed of light. Great, what does that say about his combat speed? He moves LIKE lightning...that is just a simile and doesn't denote that Thor actually moves at the speed of lightning. Or it could be exaggeration. Or it could be accurate. There's nothing clear either way.

After reading so many compelling arguments from both sides I would say that theses characters have compariable combat speed reflexes, and that it makes sense that given Logan's superior fighting skills, he is able to anticipate Thor's movements better and react just a little faster. This isn't a pure reflex it's just superior anticipation due to the fact that Thor would tend to telegraph his blows more and that Logan has better fighting skills overall. Thor's fighting with a giant hammer...so even if one argues that he has compariable melee skills, it's sorta hard NOT to telegraph those blows. Since Wolverine is able to react to lighting, he should be able to react to Thor two handing his hammer..even if Thor is moving at the speed of light simply because Thor is telegraphing his blows way in advance.

Another thing I never thought of...Thor was completely caught off guard by some of Wolverine's blows...yet he reacted successfully to others. This is like the old saying that the punch you don't see is the one that knocks you out. Not that Wolverine moved too fast for Thor to react but that he used his skills to perhaps come at Thor in a way that Thor was "blind" to the strike. Similar to how Mike Tyson, although his punches could be seen by other fighters, used to hit people with blows they didn't see. You can do this by distracting momentarily and then striking from an unexpected position. Wolverine is undoubtedly better at Thor at this particular tactic I would argue. Thor isn't a subtle fighter for the most part. Logan isn't always either but he can be if he wants to - I wouldn't put it past him, given compariable combat reflexes to be able to sneak a few on Thor just by either a) countering Thor's massive attacks which exposes Thor one Thor misses or b) distracting Thor by throwing combinations which allow him to land blows on Thor.

That being said, The Gorgon would use the same tactic to fight Thor. It's one thing to have superspeed, it's quite another to have superspeed combat reflexes and to have the skill to essentially fake out your opponent and land an unexpected blow. This is something I would easily expect Gorgon to be capable of.

However, this doesn't mean Gorgon wins. Just that he may get a few initial shots in. Thor however may actually have greater PURE reflexes than both Logan and Gorgon - but lacks the same amount of skill and hence is susceptable to attacks where greater skill can accomodate for slightly the slower combat reflexes that Wolverine and Gorgon MIGHT possess. And since Thor's skill isn't that lacking either, might be able to land a direct blow..say by spinning his hammer in a radius which the Gorgon now cannot escape since the Gorgon is in close. Such a blow would render Gorgon into Zombie mush and probably end the fight then and there. OR would be a none issue after that.

Actually, Thor managed to both hit and grab Wolverine, so no, the "one direct comparison" doesn't show that Wolverine is faster.

Plus, Let's not forget that Thor didn't actually want to fight Wolverine.

Fine job optic_blast!!, fine job you've done. This whole charade about how you're, in reality, a thoughtful poster who really is looking to further honest discussion on this topic wouldn't have worked had you not admitted that Thor could take a few.

But who exactly were you trying to appeal to by admitting that Thor takes a majority? You weren't convincing us. Maybe the undecided bystanders? Hilarious.
