but does he gain the powers of a death god? Naaaa...Nope, the vampire incident came out months ago. Him being depowered was mentioned when he joined the Avengers and in Hulk.
Can I please have an issue and title so I can comfirm this for myself?

Why does that matter? That not going to make it any more likely that he will use it. We dont simply assume wolverine goes berserker in every forum fight, then why assume walter will? Can I please have an issue and title so I can comfirm this for myself?
He doesn't want to use it, but anything that weakens his soul such as pain or rage Tanaraq slips in. He is always fighting his influence which is different then Walter's berserker fury
Red Hulk #2 is the vampire scene. The weaker thing happened during the Fall of the Hulks, I will have to track down the issue.
Walter even says in his fight with the Thing: "I haven't felt this bad since my battle with the Hulk", and this was in the middle of the fight before the Thing started taking over. The Thing kept getting up, seemingly unhurt, while Sasquatch was busy whining about how he hurt all over.
Sasquatch had the edge in strength (although not enough of an edge to put Thing down) in that fight, but it seems pretty obvious that the Thing had the edge in durability and fighting skills. Bring it up to the present and the Thing is now a lot stronger. Sasquatch goes down for the majority.

Taking over? You mean the one punch that Walter was back up a second later? Now Thing was unhurt? haha wow. Also when he made that quote was when it could be argued Sasquatch Thing was briefly out. Sasquatch punches Thing, "for long moments claims the forest, then..." Walter makes his comment and slowly walks over to a still sprawled out Thing, which all that gave him plenty of time to recover. As I have said many times that was before Walter got his upgrade
Nice, so you ignore Walter has an upgrade and ignore their other fight they had? Also nice you ignored Walter's other advantages too
Also did I miss something? Did Thing even come close to putting Sasquatch down or even come close to ko'ing him? No, so why are you using that fight as an example of Thing wins?

Well yeah look at the context near the end Walter felt guilty and wanted it to end, while Hulk was so mad he actually wanted to kill Walter. Seriously how often have you seen Hulk so mad he wanted to kill his opponent? Thats a detail people are overlooking.
and in other issues people compliamented Walter going one on one with the Hulk.

I was wondering if Thing faired better than Sasquatch did against the Hulk, in any version.
Against that enraged Hulk? I honestly have no clue. Pineapple for sure, anyone?
Thing has also been tooled pretty quickly other times, so be interesting to see if we can determine an average as they have fought a lot.

FF 112 is probably Things best showing if you discount FF 320 where Pineapple Thing beats the tar out of Grey Hulk.
Ben is becoming more and more irrational due to Reed's "cure" that means Ben can change back and forth between forms and goes mad so Banner changes into Hulk to stop him and Ben is actually getting the better of the Hulk until Alicia turns up and distracts Thing and and the Hulk knocks him out with a cheap shot.
I've always thought Sasquatch was way beyond the Class 70 the old hand books had it at but I think Thing matches up very well against him in a fight.
Not sure who I would give the majority to in all honesty
