I want to get this straight...You don't think the spectre could kill the Void....is that your position?

Correct.

Correct.

My, God. I have no idea how to even respond to that. That's like claiming Jamaica could beat the USA in a war.

No, it really isn't.

Spectre could barely defeat a weakened, dying sky-father who could barely stand on his feet. Void beating his ass down in a fair fight isn't that farfetched. Not saying that I agree with Quan though. The Presence can easily give Spectre enough power to destroy Void.

geeeee.... im not an avid comic reader... but i thoroughly enjoy the "indestructible" types (the void/the centry) who come into play just to save the day. but when these cherecters are put against favoritist villians and superheros alike are always put down for a bullhonkey reason such as: on a certain planet hulk is alergic to pollin. but in any other realistic stan lee true to comic universe setting would never let slip that with even any amount of help the void is unstoppable. HE WOULD SURVIVE, simply because even wolverine regenerated from a single atom.

Lulz.

Shazam had prep first off, Shazam was in the ROE second off, and Spectre wasn't backed third off.

We've been seeing a lot of debate recently about whether or not the Void can be killed. With that in mind, the rules of this gauntlet are simple. How far can the Void get in this gauntlet before he is killed. In each scenario, the Void doesn't want to die. But he takes each attack.

1. Helicarrier lands on Void's head.

2. Thor(wearing his belt, and in Warrior's madness) and Beta Ray Bill simultaneously hit Void with their hammers at full power.

3. Black Bolt screams at him from point blank range.

4. Darkseid hits him with the Omega beam.

5. The Hulk watches the Void kill Betty. The Hulk then gets to hit the Void with 20 punches.

6. Thor hits him with a god blast.

7. Superboy Prime gets it into his head that Void destroyed Prime's Earth. He then gives him a full powered eye beam, and then hits him with 20 full powered punches.

8. Odin, inside the Destroyer armor, fires the armor's disintegration ray at the Void from point blank range at full power.

9. A well fed Galactus unleashes his full power on the Void.

10. Supergod Hercules hits him with a full powered blast.

11. PC Dr. Fate gets a week to prepare a spell to destroy the Void. Will the spell kill him?

12. Mr. Mxy attempts to wipe him out of existence.

13. The Spectre is ordered by the Presence to destroy the Void.

from 3 on, he's screwed.

Shazam was at 100% plus Mordru restored him after they fought and Shazam prepped

fully backed spectre would blink void out of existence

WTF?

Shazam had prep like OV and Iceman said, AND had the home field advantage in the RoE which increased the less experienced Captain Marvel's power a hundred fold while he was the Keeper of the Rock.

Killing Shazam under the conditions Spectre did wasn't a low showing at all.

It is irrelevant if the Presence has ever done so. The question is whether or not the Spectre could destroy Void if the Presence gave him enough power to.

If your position is no, then you are stating that the Presence does not have enough power to destroy Void.

This is the Quan I like to see.

You're asking me to debate a hypothetical since to my knowledge it's never occurred before.

As in coie I don't see him ever just acquiring enough power needed on his own so my opinion stands firm. He can't permanently kill the Void.

So....let me get this straight. You think Robert Reynolds, The Sentry, aka The Void,.............is GOD? 🤨

What's most surprising to me? I would have thought you'd claim it for Thanos. 😛

He only 'cleaned up' SHAZAM's crib for Spectre. There was nothing to suggest that he restored SHAZAM's power.

Mordru ruined his entire plan, Jake. If you recall, SHAZAM could not believe that Mordru had found a way to release himself; so, SHAZAM, seeing that Mordru was the immediate threat, gave his all to prevent Mordru from escaping the Rock of Eternity. He was weakened to the point that he, according to himself, could barely stand and was just a shell of an old, fragile man.

^ See?

Good job Spectre.

This is correct. 99% of the versus forum is about debating hypotheticals otherwise it would be a really boring forum.

That being said if Presence wants Void destroyed, then Void will be destroyed.

Like I said, Thor kills him.

I can't believe people are actually debating 13. (nevermind 11 and 12).
