So then Hulk is the strongest being in the Universe and can never be defeated because he'll just get as angry as he needs to be. There is plenty of hyperbole for characters like that which we don't give that much credit to and spectre is no different. Until we SEE ON PANEL spectre full backed by the Presence and what he can do.. it's nothing more than hyperbole. Saying otherwise, in hypocritical of you guys since we dont' that with other characters.

Hey Thanosi? When a character is literally the wrath of god, he's pretty much backed by god. 🙄 And unlike almost any character in comics, Spectre's power is dependant on what The Presence 'lets' him do.
Unlike that bullshit about Sentry being the angel of death, Spectre WAS the angel of death. Literally. He got a job change after Christ died and became infused with a human. Eclipso got booted out of the job around the same time.
Guess who put him down and kicked out Eclipso? Michael, God's right hand. A guy on par with or superior to the HOTU.

Yeah Spectre is -literally- God's vengeance/wrath personified. Just like Michael is God's power personified, and Lucifer is God's will personified.
If God wants someone/thing dead, Spectre is who he sends to carry out the deed. That said, I take the stips of this thread as God personally sending Spectre to slay Phoenix... Spectre wins.
