Akkadians versus Conan

The three Akkadian assassins from "The Scorpion King" (Mathayus, his half brother and their friend), are hired to hunt down and kill Conan the Barbarian.

The Akkadians are armed with all the weapons they were shown using onscreen, as is Conan.

Conan is not aware he is being hunted, and he has his asian friend (the archer) with him, as well as Valeria.

Do the Akkadians kill Conan?

Sure they do, they stealthed their way into Thulsa Doom's palace, loaded with people and guards, set up distractions and then struck like ninjas. They even had camouflaged paint for some reason.

Well if you're going to script Conan into getting drunk and falling asleep, sure. But what's the point in that?

Simon Birch with a skank could liklely kill a drunk and asleep Conan.

If Conan and co. are unaware, they get killed. If they are aware, I'd say they survive via ambush.

Conan spent the last 40 years getting drunk and seen carrying broads down random streets.

And he did just fine!

Akkadians aren't bringin anything new to the table. The Scorpian King became the kind of monster that Conan killed once a week.

Conan was not being hunted 24/7.

By your argument we could make this US VS CONAN and sooner or later we could poison his ale or throw a molotov into his sleeping quarters.

Conan wins through the power of collective subconscious favor.

The Asian wizard would predict the Akkadian's intent on killing Conan.

And Conan would prepare a trap just like in the first film that would lure the assassins into a confrontation.

The archer would protect the high ground while Conan would crush the Rock and friends in a spectacular display of skill and strength.

Once Conan is aware of his assassins he fights them on equal ground....it's what he does.
