Thank you for the tips. Of course going out and meeting new people would be great, but due to my busy schedule I don't always have time for that. A friend advised to try be2. I registered a few days ago and met some nice people, though I'm not sure I have found the one yet 🙂) I'm also trying other websites... I guess I need some more time to figure out if online dating works for me or not.
One of my friends moved into an apt complex. First day he moved in he met a girl the same week as him and helped her move a big box or two.... That was it.
That friend of mine tried several sites. He met a lot of girls. Went on a lot of dates. Nothing panned out.
Ran back into the girl again one day near the end of the school year... they got to talking...
One year later... he's married.
Nothing wrong with online.. but even in real life... sometimes you can meet the right person at the wrong time.
I started talking to a guy online in September 2006, I think it was, then at the end of November he asked me if I wanted to be his girlfriend. I was a bit sceptical about it, seeing as he was the first person ever to show that kind of interest in me, but I said yes..
And now he's sleeping in the next room as we speak. awesome
'twill be our 5th anniversary on the 28th of November. =3
