As for others, Azula vs Elektra, Toph vs Spider-man maybe?

Since Aang never got hit physically while in Avatar state it would be difficult to determine what would happen

Im not sure Aang gets a durability boost while in the avatar state I thought it was more like a huge experience boost

thsat was always my impression, is that he got a huge experience and power upgrade, since all the past avatars powers flowed thru him

Dont forget than in the last book he had a protective field around him. Fire, water, air, earth. With that thing he flew right through mountains like they were made out of paper.

true but one could also argue since he controls the elements he just moved the earth outta his way, and he looked as if he was busting thru...

Havent thought about that. True. But imo it kinda looked like he was just wrecking it. Also when Azula sent him flying headfront through that cave he was uncouncious, yet wasnt hurt. Its safe to say his durability is way beyong normal humans. Heck Iroh who was an old fat guy at the time was swinging hugeass boulders like a lasso. They are all beyond humans in strength/durability/speed/reflexes..

true...but dont you think IM with his speed and reflexes and strength is a little outta his league, i mean this guy does battle hulk

Vilgax vs Apocalypse

Vilgax is tough but not tough enough

Apocalypse is more than low enough in showings for it be a good fight.

Vilgax has done some beast things actually.

I'm usually one of the first people to point and laugh at Apocalypse, but it sounds to me like you'd construct this fight using Apoc's low showings and Vilgax's high showings 😛

If there's anyone here who's read the Dresden Files book series, can they tell me if they think that Harry Dresden vs Batman would be a good fight?

Toph vs Spider-Man might be good.

I know IM fought Hulk but he's not EXACTLY in his weight class, right? Avatar state Aang was pretty uber in the third book. I wonder if any of the previous avatars new how to bend metal.

iirc Aang never bent metal, only Toph did

IIRC Toph invented metal bending. She's basically an earth bending prodigy.

I think Classic IM vs Avatar State Aang could be a fight...but any of the upgraded Iron Man armors would tool Aang.

my sentiments exactly...Toph was the best earth bender ever. Plus wasnt Azula able to harm aang while in avatar state, or ,maybe it was while he was transitioning.

Either way, its going to have to be someone with at the most peak human durability

It was a cheapshot from behind and iirc he was just entering the avatar state.

I know Aang didnt bend metal. Im only saying that it is possible that one of the previous avatars have discovered that technique. There were thousnads of them after all. But that's just me speculating so nevermind. Ok, maybe IM is too much, although imo Aang should be able to handle him.

Nah current Ironman would stomp Aang

Wasnt current Iron Man wrecked by Doc Ock?

Nope. He was operating on low power levels so the bomb wouldn't go off and was still doing fine.

Not sure why you ignored the context. From what we can see he wasn't even Class 100 and had to resort to acrobatic stunts to save energy.
