Jesse Jackson Jr. sounds like a satire of Keynesianism.

We already have forms communism is America...just some people choose to ignore it. This includes what I think is Marxism-Leninism and Stalinism.

We have aspects of it, yes, but if you go digging around I would be surprised if there was any economic philosophy that didn't have pieces of other ones in it.

That was pretty much my point. People don't like to think that about "America" but there is pretty much a "sprinkle" of many political philosophies in many different things we do...including the naughty ones like "socialism" or forms of 20th Century communism.

The deeper meaning behind the Stalinism was more of a commentary on the semi-conspiritorial "eliminating" enemies that America has experienced in the past. We are not a "clean" nation of perfect righteousness. Sure, we didn't eliminate our enemies on level with Stalin's millions, but we certainly are not clean-nosed.

Well, except for all the native Americans.

AHA!

I was talking more about "political" enemies, but "country vision" enemies work, as well.

Do you mean Manifest Destiny?

No, that's not what I meant.

But it would be part of what I meant.

There's more than Native Americans that were trampled by the US government in the process of maintaining or establishing.

"country vision" is in quotes to distance myself from the concept.

Oh, I just assumed it was in quotations because you made up a concept that already had a term to describe it.

😬

That much was pretty damn obvious...and wrong.

Are you under the impression that manifest destiny had only to do with native americans?

Are you under the impression that I assumed that Manifest Destiny only had to do with the Native Americans? Or were the Native Americans brought up by someone else and Manifest Destiny was only a small portion of my actual point?

No fair, I asked first.
