Thanos has gotten stronger since back then. Who wins now?

Well he was way stronger than pre-END Thanos... Apparently could destroy death herself (but only if she let him).

I think he actually has a respect thread.

Wasn't Walker easily more powerful than Captain Marvel, Pre-Death Thanos, and Thor combined?

Yeah...I'd say that he still wins. Didn't he have a form of death independent of Mistress Death? Pretty sure he owned the souls of his dead and offered them to MD as a gift/show of his affection.

Right, but, he was only able to do that as part of the function of Death anyway. When he went to Purgatory where mistress death has no influence, he couldn't kill people either.

Thanos is more powerful imo than Walker and can't be killed.

But my understanding is that Death isn't actively keeping Thanos alive, she just doesn't want him in her realm.

So couldn't an alternative to going to Death's realm still kill Thanos?

I don't think that's it at all. If he died and she didn't take him in her realm, he'd just be a ghost. In this case, she won't accept him into death, period, and so he cannot die like an Elder of the Universe

Death gods such as Walker have power over their believer's souls, and can do whatever they do with them, but, the actual event of death is the abstract's dwelling.
