And no he cant simply do it as minutes before hand he couldnt do it in the heat of battle... unless he gained an incredible amount of spiritual wisdom from the few minutes before hand were he was about to die.

not sure what you're referring to.

Avatar state... sorry aha 😛

He couldn't do it willingly in the battle because his chakra was blocked. He had previously unlocked all the chakras and went into it at will at the end of season 2, so when it was unlocked he could go into it at will, as shown by him doing so after he defeated Ozai.

And being able to do it so suddenly is no more implausable than him being able to Energy bend so suddenly.

1.23.00 Thats millions of tons of water he's moving. No-one could do that except the Avatar.

Hell, even without Avatar state, Aang can still just hold him in place with earth bending and take his bending away.

Umm... did you not see in the bloody last episode how he nearly died against ozai becuase it took so much for him to enter the avatar state ? And im not implying that Iroh could but iroh can beat Aang if he is not in the avatar state.. and the fact that Iroh does have the wisdom to possibly stop Aang from entering it means that he could defeat him.

Aang only nearly died because of Sozin's Comet. This thread does not have Iroh amped by the comet so Aang should be able to comfortably beat him.

Aang was amped as well... and he still failed with the aid of the other elements.

Only firebending was amped. And he barely used firebending at all (once, I think).

Implying what ? To firebend you must throw your energy at the oponent... now the thing is aang wasnt good enough at firebend to even stand toe to toe with Ozai.. his only hope was to run. Without the amp Iroh... (who is more powerful at firebending than ozai) would be able to stand toe to toe with aang... sure he wouldnt be forcing aang to run around but it would be close. The one thing Aang does not yet have is the ability to quickly kill from a distance (e.g lighting) which iroh does.

Ill depict how i think the battle would pan out so you understand what i mean.

Iroh and Aang start of hitting it out etc etc, it would be a close battle.. but how i see Iroh winning is Aang being forced to fly in the air due to Iroh going max out... that one moment is were i see Iroh firing a lighting bolt... assuming Aang even tho in the air manages to redirect it at Iroh, Iroh would be in the position to redirect it back at Aang.. but instead of him aiming for Aang he aims for were he will land ( as by now Aang would be about to land) This would force Aang to take alot of damage.. then i would see Iroh finishing him quickly with another one.

The point of Iroh aiming for were he will land is so Aang cant redirect it.

Implying what

That Aang was fighting Ozai with his regular unamped bending and it was only slightly less powerful if not as powerful as Ozai's amped bending.

Think of it like this:

Amped Iroh = Amped Ozai = Regular (at least in terms of 3 of his powers) Aang.

Therefore Regular Aang > Regular Iroh = Regular Ozai.

Also, Iroh is a hell of a lot less agile and manouverable than Ozai, which was really what saved him in his fight with Aang. Aang was chucking huge rocks at him throughout, which I don't think Iroh could comfortably dodge like Ozai could. Finally the Avatar State beats the **** out of Iroh 10/10.

Also Aang would have won the fight if he hadn't of been such a pussy about redirecting Ozai's lightning. Instead he gets ****ed up by the lightning and collapses. After that he couldn't even fight back anymore.

Umm havnt you watched the end of the series were Iroh is tank as hell, and just a bit less powerful.. i rlly think u need to watch that battle again.

Iroh loses based on these circumstances.
