20,000 Mandalorians vs. The Jedi Order and the One Sith

actually yeah.. it's way too... random. random encounters on random planets. I liked LOTF though...

LOTF had some serious potential. But it, too, sucked. With rare exception: Grand Admiral Gilad Pellaeon and the glorious General Turr Phennir.

Weren't they killed off though? Pellaeon was at least.

Lucius and I agree that that was a pretty decent plotline.

i found it as "oh, we created a force God, now all books end with him just going and killing the bad guy... what can we do now?" sort of work-around.

My solution was best: Don't make him a Force God. Luke going in and pwning everyone is gay and detrimental to the story.

I mean you average Jedi is getting cut down by a few droids, a few Mandos should easily take them.

It's far more common for Jedi to take out large numbers of droids.

It's only the Jedi who weren't used to battles that got caught in bad positions like that.

I see Mandos planting bombs all over the place and blowing up things. The bombings will take out many Jedi/Sith. I think if they use good tactics, Mandos stand a great chance of decimating Force-users. Then engage Jedi/Sith in a straight-up fight, and with these numbers Mandos are going to kick ass.

What if the Jedi and Sith respond by attacking the Mandos planting bombs?

Neither the Sith or Jedi are unexperienced in war, or even Mandalorians. They're going to use good tactics too, and will have Battle Meditation on their side.

Not really. Only the greats of the Jedi Order have been shown to be able to cut down a large amount of droids.

And ultimately droids aren't even comparable to Mandos, especially when one considers their armor.

not really, most jedi cut down lots of droids... Ahsoka, for instance.

Yeah, but what I had in mind was that Mandos will go for a surprise attack. Given their intimate knowledge of the structures of Coruscant, I think they will infiltrate the environment and use every advantage they could possibly find. That would be smart, given that they know what they are up to.

Seriously, the number of Mandos here is just virtually impossible to overcome. I said it ealier, I see Mace and Yoda pwning dozens, maybe hundreds of Mandos, but then again Jedi/Sith of Coleman Trebor caliber will get trashed.
