AHHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!
Damn I wish I got a few of these babies for the inevitable price increase.
They Are Collectible Toys For The Movie. Get over it.
The arguments in that video were hilarious.

Offensive toys?Roots action figures.
Kunta Kente comes with shackles and an accessory white man who whips the shit out of him. Press the button on his back and he agonizingly moans "Toby!".
Yeah a Roots whipping toy would be insane.
Maybe a Serbian Film toyline would piss people off the most. 🙁

Nope, I SERIOUSLY don't think so...Let the films speak for themselves.
-Do the Right Thing (Anger and Racism leads to hatred and loss on both sides of the fence)
-Malcom X (Racism can come from even those that promote peace)
-Get on The Bus (The struggles of the past are relevant to the struggles of today)
-Summer of Sam (I-talians portratyed as fearful and somewhat weak not as tough badass gangsters)
-25th Hour (Crime cannot be undone and you have to do the time)
-Inside Man (Best Bank Robbery movie since Michael Mann's Heat)Now Tarantino:
-Reservoir Dogs (VERY Unique movie about Robbers who turn to be idiots but are so appealing that you cannot dislike them even when they kill cops)
-Pulp Fiction (Best Gangster Movie in the past 50 years. Redefines the genre of gangsters with tales of deception, betrayal, and human violence)
-Jackie Brown (Revenge)
-Kill Bill vol 1 and 2 (Revenge)
-Death Proof (Revenge)
-Inglorious Basterds (Revenge)
-Django Unchained (Revenge)I know, skipped a few but you should get the point by now.
This post was brought to you by the incredible and humble WD!

Admittedly I haven't seen most of Spike's films, but I have seen all of Tarantino's films and I doubt Spike's would even compare. Revenge films or not, they're still pretty different from one another.
how can you doubt they compare when you haven't seen them. clearly your bias is showing. i like tarantino movies too but to be honest he hasn't really done any thought provoking films.

I've only seen three of Spike's films: Malcolm X, Summer of Sam, and 25th Hour.I personally think that Lee is a talented director, but I still think that QT blows Spike out of the water in style, storytelling, pacing, and character progression.
how so? tarantino has used almost the same formula for most of his films. i enjoy his films but they're definitely not on the same level with lee.
I watched Django Unchained on Blu-ray yesterday.
I still think that it's an amazing film, personally.
What also still bugs the shit out of me is how racist idiots like Spike Lee call Tarantino a racist for using the word "n*gger" in his films, yet don't say a word when black film makers like the Hughes brothers and John Singleton use the same word constantly in their movies.
