Started reading serously after noticed the word dungbell. Well this is a contest Thanus has every advantage to win. It's not about strength, where Superman is superior, but supermans senses are also "super" he will stop participating once the smell becomes unbearable, while Thanus is used to it. So Thanus wins.

If Thanus hangs loose, stays wide and pushes hard, he can win this battle.

Superman obviously has more lifting feats so if that's your criteria you'd say he would win. If you go by portrayals of the characters it gets tougher
