I'd become a hardcore COD fanboy if they got rid of the knife. Le Sigh.I can't get used to it no matter how hard I try lol. It is just so...unrealistic it pisses me off lol. And yes I know it is sad to expect realism in a game, but come on...everyone has been BS knifed.
Well, to be fair, CoD did scale down the knife considerably. You don't lunge forward 30ft anymore. In fact, unless I am behind an enemy, I won't even bother to knife.

But ya, I rarely knife, unless I get spooked and accidentally click the stick. Even when I'm behind an enemy since I've had... mixed results with it to say the least. Everything else, no problem, but the knife had always been a dick for me.

It's still a far cry from the outrageous, almost Halo like lunge in the previous MW games. I tend to stay away from knives as well unless I am right behind an enemy. I use scavenger, so I usually opt to shoot even if people are close.
DLC dates
i bet it will be overpriced as usual.

That's the name of the game these days. Make a killing in DLC when you could have just spent that extra time putting the extra levels or whatever in the game to begin with. Oh, well, I'll probably get them when no great games are scheduled to release anyways.
Yeah, it's hard to buy maps when your a PC gamer.
One of the best online shooters ever made (TF2) has released free content for years, maps, new weapons, new gameplay systems for free. That's not including custom maps (which some of them are awesome).
I don't mind paying for new packs like BF3 Back to Karkand if it includes more than just maps.
Indeed. Plus, the thing about BF3 maps is that every map is noticeably different. Ranging from different maps having different vehicles (or vehicle orientations, such as ground focused like tanks to jets/helicopters), to different maps having different defensive/offense positions for rush/conquest, to maps being sniper oriented or close quarters oriented.
Every map is different and forces you to play differently, so it's worth then ten bucks for the maps, AND THAT'S NOT INCLUDING THE NEW GUNS THAT COME WITH IT. Gaaaaah
