I would certainly watch a Director's Cut. But I hope there isn't one. I think directors should be allowed to make their films the way they want them the first time. Having alternate versions of movies generally gets on my nerves. But if a Director's Cut will improve some of the characterization, I'd be up for it, I guess. The Director's Cut for Troy is awesome. I remember people telling me that movie was terrible (they probably only saw the theatrical version), but I watched the DC and it kicked ass. Immortals reminds me of Troy a little bit, just more... supernatural.
Now, I'm hoping for a sequel... as long as it's done by Tarsem. They seemed to end it on a note that could imply a sequel. Hopefully it'll do well at the box office. *crosses fingers* It's already done pretty well. Opened at #1. Cost $75 million to make and has already made $70 million worldwide. But f*#king Twilight comes out next weekend, so that'll hurt it.. 😠
