finally watched it. Was decent, not as great as I expected.

Poseidon jump was pretty badass.

300 is at least entertaining, cheesy, but entertaining.

but there is a some sort of a 300 sequel on its way not sure how its gonna turn out since Frank Miller's writing these has been shit.

[Immortals Blu-ray Announced]

I had a dream about seeing this in 3D on somebody's TV. I want to buy a 3D tv just for this movie, haha.. I've never actually seen a 3D tv, though. I'm curious to see what it looks like. I've heard they're less-than-impressive, I think.

I did case out a 3D tv at Walmart the other day. They're not too bad. It seems like you have to sit up close to them to get the most out of it. I have a question about 3D, though: do the 3D discs play in an ordinary blu-ray player? Or do you need a special player to play the 3D?

The reason I ask is because I'm thinking about going ahead and getting the 3D copy of this release, just because I'll probably end up getting a 3D tv at some point..

they have already designed a new mock up concept with glass, it looks so futuristic but it wont be ready for a number of years.

Ah... ok. I see that you do. But they don't look super expensive. I'll probably go ahead and get the 3D version. It's not a whole lot more anyway..

I got the 3D version (Best Buy has it on sale, and I think it's the same price as the standard blu-ray)...

I look forward to getting a 3D player/TV at some point in the future. As for the extras I've watched so far: The alternate beginning is kind of bad, so probably a good thing they cut that. The alternate endings are a little better. They're all interesting, though. Some of the deleted scenes should have been in there, though, I think. Especially a couple in particular, of the men arriving to the walled Tartarus (or whatever it's called), and the one where the defector confronts Hyperion with

his decapitated heads.

I'm not entirely pleased with the release, but hopefully I'll get 3D eventually and it'll be totally worth it. 😄

why exactly were the titans feared in this movie?

they were basically gray humans as far as I could tell 😬
