I would say probably the trio. It's just the three-on-two factor, Tsunade can play a big spoiler in the fights.

If Naruto is above Jiraiya (..right?) along with Sasuke then they could pull off a win. Numbers wont mean much if he makes Clones.

Toad Song Genjutsu would be very effective against Naruto. Onee he is done, gang up on Sasuke.

Wouldn't that move hit his teammates too? Forgot how it works.

Yep. But considering Jiraiya probably won't attack them, it doesn't really matter.

Clones won't win the day. He can only clone swarm in normal mode. He's limited to 3 in Sage mode, and none in Kyuubi mode.

And any of the Sannin can handle a clone swarm pretty well.

Well Naruto made the clone sign in this mode so maybe he can, but fair enough.

He technically *can*, it just multiplies the Kyuubi's drain of his chakra (that is, the Naruto-only chakra, not 9-tail chakra) and would kill him quite fast. So it definitely can't be used for any clone swarm, that'd be instant death.

I guess one or two may be possible, it just puts him on the death clock, even holding out would grant the opponents a win.

Naruto and Sasuke can win, and quite easily. As long as they use teamwork they can trounce the sannin.

I suppose relax. Another assumption is he was probably planning for the clone to take the hit while he ran by, so it wasn't going to be around long anyway.

Keep in mind the Sannin in turn would have highly practiced teamwork, even taking into account their time apart.

Their summoning techs are also considerably better. Naruto barely uses Toads (not to mention, Jiraiya will be using the High-level ones anyway), while Sasuke can only use a Hawk, which gives him generally superior mobility, but has nothing in the way of offense.

That said, I wonder if Sasuke can use Susano'o to protect them both, while Naruto enters Sage Mode & throws Rasenshurikens, and he tries to build up Kirin or something like that. mmm

Sure, but one has a ton of chakra, and the other can use Amaterasu and Susano'o together anyway. srug

Summons are useless... with Susanoo, Sasuke can resist all their attacks while they will be unable to dodge his arrows.
