I've never seen Sasuke react to a purely audible genjutsu. But yeah probably right, though he isn't really the purpose behind the attack. Get Naruto out of the picture, Sasuke is toast.

^ I'm pretty sure Tayuya used a Sound-based genjutsu on Shikamaru. But yeah, on-screen, Sasuke's never faced a Sound-based one, much less one as potent as the one the Toad Elders use.
