Johns is supposed to be giving Aquaman proper respect; If he's written decently, Ollie isn't a threat to him bar some magic trick arrow.

Yes. Aquaman is stronger, faster, has telepathy and is quick enough to dodge arrows.

Even giving Ollie respect, someone like Arthur is out of his weight class if written properly.

Well theres telepathy don't know about the faster bit. I guess Ollie may have some prep, TP blocker.

There's some excellent comedy in the last couple pages of this thread.

Damn DC for doing He-Man. My DC boycott may be over. At least if it's not in the DCnU, I don't have to follow anything else. It better not reinvent the canon though, I will flip my sh*t. He-man has gone through so many companies and mediums, and it's all canon (live action movie notwithstanding), according to what I was able to dig up. And from what I can tell, none of it contradicts wildly with anything else he's been in. No new back stories, inconsistent incarnations, etc. If they throw that out, well, balls.

Digi, if you get around reading He-Man I hope you shed some light in whether is good or not, I don't really follow any He-Man fictions out there but I look foward reading good comics.

He is at least as fast, if not faster. he should be catching arrows in the book with little difficulty.

I feel like JL exists outside of time in the new DCU with Hal being the most significant source of frustration. He doesn't have a ring in his own series and feels more mature, whereas he somehow become the Spiderman of the JL (and has a ring).

So is current JL slightly ahead or still behind GL after the time jump?
