Who do you think Andrew was talking to? Some say it's the SPECTRE.
Anyway, I can't wait for Dial H. Many creators are saying it's one of the best things, since Sandman. Jeff Lemire said it might be better than Animal man and JL Dark put together. 😮💨

Someone posted this earlier. Cain might have a larger roll in DC down the line...
Yeah, it's Etrigan, representing the Demon Knights. The Demon Knights were the group, "the army of great mystical warriors', that defeated Cain originally. That's why Madam Xanadu - a member of the Demon Knights AND of the Justice League Dark - immediately recognized him in JL Dark 7. That's what I was getting at in my initial post -- this serves all kinds of masters, sets up Cain, ties into JLDark, ties into Demon Knights and sets up a future story of THEIRS, has great guest appearances from the Gotham crowd, etc. It just does a lot of things without requiring any knowledge but rewarding it, and it does it seamlessly.

The story was okay, but I had a few [small] gripes with this issue of Action Comics.
a.) I HATED how Brainiac was illustrated:
b.) I HATED how Supes was illustrated in this page:
Cheesy art aside, I still wish they would have waited longer to give him 'the suit'. I enjoyed him so much more as a character when he was wearing poor-boy farm clothes. They gave him an average joe/fallible vibe that really added to the character, imo.
c.) On a better note, it seems like they're going to introduce the idea of a multiverse in the next issue:
So that's good.
