I'll read it. It just better be good.

Of course you would. Since trinity war is going to start soon, I think that here their break-up would start.

Why wouldn't I?

Who said they were breaking up?

I was just teasing.

Just a hunch, nothing more. You don't think this is going to last, do you? Even the cover demonstrates (IMO) that this relationship is based upon physical attraction.

How does the cover hint that?

And I think it will last as long as Johns wants it to. So it could be months, it could be years. Depends on Johns.

Wonder woman dry humping superman?

Johns isn't be all, end all at DC. Also lulz at it being years, no offense to you pr.

You can like someone for more than their body and still want to dry hump them. Johns already established in JLA that the reason they even kissed in the first place was a mutual sense of isolation. What makes them properly get together is going to have to be more just sex.

Why not? Johns has more power than most at DC. This is a guy that was able to veto new Green Lantern books because he didn't want them messing with his shit.

A year is twelve issues. Not really a stretch, tbh.

I said IMO, didn't I? Agree to disagree.

Johns is be all, end all in GL franchise, for forseeable future. No such case for superman and WW franchise. If WB's past record is something we look upon, I'm not seeing this relationship survive this summer. Again IMO.

I know you did. I'm still curious. You think that wanting to dry hump someone removes the chance of liking them otherwise?

Johns is one of the top guys at DC. If he wants Superman and Diana to stay together, they'll stay together. This is the guy who almost singlehandedly took a chunk out of Marvel's bottom line with Green Lantern, and was arguably the biggest driving force behind the reboot. The only guy above Johns is basically Didio nowadays.

Batgirl was solid, and had a weird ending. Benes not drawing the whole issue was a negative, though.

GLC was good. Interested to see where they go next.

Eclipso ftw.

👆

Johns has a ridiculous amount of pull and power in DC. He's also handling the flagship title of the company, so yeah, I'm imagining that his opinion is going to merit more than others.

Although I generally like johns on gl im also kind of tired of him on it. I hope hickman can take a crack at gl one day. Hes also a fan of giffens legion of superhefoes. Maybe we can see that as well.

Hickman's going to be busy making the Avengers franchise the shit.

But yeah, I feel the same way about Johns on the GL mythos. I think he burned through his creative juices with the War of Light.

I'd much rather see Hickman on LoSH, then GL. The former hasn't been good for a LONG time.

Amen brotha amen! Who do you guys think could write a good green lantern?
