They already announced that the next few issues would be written by someone else.

Oh, I just read it. Good. She's great on that book imo.

I think she's going to have a new direction. She said "Chicks", so maybe she will write multiple females in the book. Maybe a steph/Barbra combo.

I was hoping for a Outsiders book from her, since they are building a new Outsiders team.

I'd rather have Cassie than Stephanie, personally.

Outsiders would be a predominantly male team, though. Wouldn't mind seeing her on it either way; that last arc with Didio was ****ing horrible, and I'm dying to see Geo-Force in the New 52.

Glad Gail's back. Not a huge fan of the individual book, but she didn't deserve to get screwed over. I do wonder if something's going to happen to the editor who thought it was ok to fire her over e-mail.

And while she might have more freedom now that she's returned*, I doubt that extends to 'bring Cass or Steph back' levels 🙂

*Dan Slott joked that if he was in Gail's place, he'd push to see how invincible he really was, and Batgirl would move to Mars, have a pet unicorn and speak entirely in Spanish.

JL and Aquaman out this week; my two favourite DC books. Hoping Ardian Syaf does a good job now that Reis has left Aquaman for the League book. Same with Reis now that Lee is gone.

Something I've been wondering... If Orm isn't an enemy of Aquaman, will something happen to him that will force Arthur to take up the throne? Perhaps even side with Atlantis against the surface world for a time?

Nice. 👆 I can't wait for the second year of JL. Throne of Atlantis and Trinity War are high on my list.

Lobdell is quickly growing into one of my favorite Superman universe (the jury is still out on the 'Superman' character itself) writers.

When will JL 15 come out?

One thing that I'm annoyed with Lobdell is he likes to put stuff on the backburner. I'm really intrigued about the 13 and it's danger to the omniverse. Hopefully he addresses this soon.

I think Lobdell has good instincts for a story and for feats, but his characterisation needs some work. He's capable of better though, so I'm sure it'll fall in line.

There are scenes where his Superman seems off, but at the same time some scenes where it feels very Superman-like.

He's a bit uneven, to be short.
