I'm very impressed with Vibe #1. They finally revealed who was in the Circus. People like Krakkle (From Flash), Gypsy, and Pariah. Not to mention

Spoiler:
Darkseid's daughter.

Unless Pak is still in the "he gets weaker at night" mindset.

So will this book be canon, do we know?

The first arc will be set before JL #1, then after that, it will be current, so yes, it's canon.

Tbh Pak is kinda a wildcard for me currently, he's had some fairly mediocre stuff, but then at the same time planet hulk, testament and the red skull prequel comics were awesome.

So it could be either way. That being said, more history to the Nu52 is something I appreciate, as that's what I loved about the post crisis 00's stuff, it always felt like this vast historical
universe.

I guess I'll have to wait for issue 1 to see if that's a good thing or not.

Promethean Giant

So, its confirmed that Man Of Steel would debut in June alongside Batman/Superman.

On the DC side of the ledger, according to a report by Diamond Comic Distributors, the publisher announced that Scott Snyder and Jim Lee's still officially untitled new "Superman" ongoing series will debut in June, alongside the newly announced Greg Pak/Jae Lee Batman/Superman ongoing series.

2 instant titles that will be in the top 10. Man of Steel might be #1, because of Jim Lee.

I heard in some interview Damian would get

Man, now I have to read a LOSH? That's lame.

Why? Because of the Giant? It was a DEAD Giant and we don't know why. Probably because of the Fatal Five.

Looks like Giffen is going to make Larfleeze into his own cosmic book. With his own supporting cast and a lot of big, new villains. Me likey.

So nobody read Aquaman? Pretty solid issue, with Johns keeping things interesting going in to the next arc. He's done a good job crafting a story where some of the Atlanteans aren't really happy with Aquaman, and at the same time the surfacers are the same.

I wasn't too big on the new artist that's been doing the book since Reis left, but when he drew this, I was convinced that he's good for the book:

You like the cock-shaped jellyfish, eh?

😂 wtf.

I actually like the artist a lot. Not as good as Reis, of course, but very solid.

Aquaman 17 was okay. I agree with Paul. Aquaman sort of reminds me of mutants.

The artist is good. I really liked that splash page.

DC adds another female title in the mix. This time it's

Spoiler:
Pandora

Pandora, the enigmatic character created by Geoff Johns that is the essential creator of the DC New 52 Universe (merging the DCU, Wildstorm and Vertigo universes/'timelines' at the end of 2011’s Flashpoint) and who appeared as an observer in every issue of the debut New 52 titles, isn’t fading from the DC spotlight any time soon.

Saturday afternoon at the Emerald City Comicon, DC announced she’ll star in her own June-debuting ongoing series Trinity of Sin: Pandora, written by Ray Fawkes (Constantine, Justice League Dark) and illustrated by Daniel Sampere.

One third of the Trinity of Sin (the others being The Phantom Stranger and The Question), she merged the three ‘timelines’ (which she implies used to be one) in order to strengthen it to better combat an impending evil invading force. In later appearances The Phantom Stranger suggests by merging the timelines she’s instead cursed them rather than strengthening them.

DC has made it clear she and the mysterious box she’s been searching for will play a major role in this year’s Trinity War, the first major New 52 event, and it’s likely this new solo ongoing series will closely tie into that event.

Trinity of Sin: Pandora is the so-far fourth new ongoing series scheduled to debut from DC in June, along with Keith Giffen, J.M. DeMatteis and Scott Kolins’ Larfleeze, Greg Pak and Jae Lee’s Batman/Superman, and Scott Snyder and Jim Lee’s yet-to-be-titled Superman series.

I wonder what evil is so great that they needed Vertigo, WS, and the mainstream DCU? 😕

Wait... What's happening to the Question?
