I suggested that Paul might use some Planetary characters in his run, because one of his favorite runs was Planetary, but people said it would be difficult because of copyrights and whatnot.

Why? Is Planetary creator owned? How did Ellis get that deal on a Wildstorm title? I thought Vertigo was the creator owned imprint.

I'm not quite sure, but I think it's money issues or something.
