Really not expecting much to change in that area.

One can hope. And speaking of news from DC, there seems to be a Nu52 version of Ma Hunkle, the 'original Red Tornado'.... and they Wallerized her!
Her entire point was she was a large woman with a pot over her head! Agggh!
lol
Like, I "get" that comics generally portray men and women in being in nothing less than decent shape as a whole, but really, what was the point of bringing back Ma Hunkel to turn her into some busty broad? The Waller thing was pretty weird and seemed unneeded.

Looks good. 👆
New look for Count Vertigo.

I like it.
Vibe is one of DC's best. I'm going to predict that he'll be one of the key players in taking down the big bad during and after Trinity War. He's powerful enough to tear a universe apart. Just another DC universal buster. 😉

Pretty much. It sort of defeats the purpose of Hunkle as a character.
The rise of Splinterfolk.

So...what's everyone reading these days?
There's a bunch of titles I was really into early on that I've since dropped:
Batwing
Nightwing
Catwoman
All the Bat books actually
Superboy
Then there's a bunch I'm holding onto because I'm curious about one thing or another:
Earth 2 (Dropped it until I saw Dr. Fate involved)
Superman (Interested in how the DCnU treats him more than anything)
Supergirl (ditto)
Wonder Woman (Orion/New Gods)
Stormwatch (used to be one of my favorites, current arc is lame as shit)
JL (obligatory reading, not that good)
And then there's books I actually look forward to reading:
GL series (even though the First Lantern has been a disappointment IMO)
Action Comics
Demon Knights
Sword of Sorcery
Red Hood (I enjoy it at least)
Phantom Stranger
Aquaman
JL Dark
Constantine (new title)
It seems like all the story arcs right now are pretty lame. Are there any other good titles out there that are more worthy of my attention? Anything that sucked at first but picked up steam and got good?

Wonder who'll pick up the writing duties from him?
That is weird.
Robinson's always been hit or miss for me. Didn't care for his Justice League run nor *shudder* Cry for Justice. His first run on the JSA was great, but later on, prior to the reboot, things got really off putting for me which is a shame because the JSA was my all time favorite DC team book.
I *did* like his Justice League. The 'Grayson, Donna, Starman, Congorilla' team worked surprisingly well for me, as did the latter team members who joined. It wasn't best-run-ever, but it was fun and they felt like a team.
Cry... yea, that was just dire.
Starman was good, though.
One of the less drama-filled leavings, though.
(Sidenote, I really liked JSA All-Stars, pre reboot)

Yea. Having tons of attractive characters? Sure, fine. Most of these people are going to be athletic and in good shape and may even have superpowers that makes looking attractive easier.
Quashing any trace of people in the hero community who doesn't conform to that? Not so fine!
I don't think whoever decides this stuff gets that people may be interested in seeing a range of body types in characters!
I hated Robinson's JLA run, but surprisingly liked JLA Cry For Justice. He made Prometheus into a uber threat more than Morrison did and I loved the art.
And it sucks he's leaving Earth 2. Quite enjoyed that, even though a lot of people are going to like it, so hopefully we can get someone equal or greater talent.
