CFJ had people spouting the word 'justice' a lot without explaining what they meant by the word, a team of heroes deciding to be more proactive and then just reacting to what Prometheus did... ah, I'll stop there. I felt it had a lot of issues.

I know there were problems with it, but I just liked the Prometheus aspect to it.

Batman/Superman
DC Universe/Masters of the Universe Crossover
Batman (Once Zero Year Starts)

Aquaman

You should definitely pick up Aquaman. Forget about the other 3

Cry for Justice was a piece of shit, imo, and it almost ruined preboot Green Arrow as a character. Not to mention how it treated a few others.

My comics:

Pull list (ie, read on the day of release):

Aquaman
Justice League
Action Comics
Superman
Nightwing

Comics I eventually get around to read, and do follow even if I'm not as pumped for them as I could be/used to be:

Justice League of America (Johns can't write Catwoman, but otherwise good)
Catwoman
Batgirl
Green Lantern
Red Lanterns
GLC
He-Man

Sword of sorcery is canceled too.
Cool, so that leaves me with one ongoing title. 👆

Stop liking the obscure comics.

Also, pick up Aquaman 👆

I read Aquaman for a while, but it just didn't peak my interest enough to keep up with it after the 'Throne of Atlantis' storyline.

[edit]
I will read the He-Man stuff, though.

He-Man is one of those characters where I really loved the cartoon, but don't care to read the comics. But I guess I will try and read the DCU crossover.

Aquaman has been in a bit of transition since he went back to Atlantis. I honestly don't like that he's not around Mera anymore, but we'll see how it foes.

I am an Aquaman lore noob. Who is the guy Mera met at the end of Aquaman 20? Was he talking about Mera when he mentioned his wife?

Aquaman 20 isn't out yet. 😐

You got it early?

Or did you mean Aquaman 19?

Yeah I meant 19, my bad. Was reading Action Comics 20 and the number stuck

Oh, Nereus. He's a new character, I think. Mera having a husband before Arthur is a pretty new development, iirc.

All right cool. Thanks for clearing that up. I hope Johns doesn't make Mera a ****.

He better not.

I really hope Johns doesn't spend too long focusing on other characters. The last issue barely had Aquaman in it.

Wow, Volthoom has to go down as one of the lamest/shittiest 'threats' EVER in DC's history. Not joking. He literally didn't do... Anything. 👇

Despite that, GL #20(Johns' final issue of GL) was epic. Even though I haven't been following GL at all lately, I still thoroughly enjoyed the issue. All things considered, Johns couldn't have ended things any better, imo. Definitely recommend.

GL #20 was very epic, what a way to end it Geoff, Volthoom took on everyone in the GL mythos, I knew it would be big but not that big! I hope GL stays interesting, and good luck to Robert Venditti as the new writer and Billy Tan as the penciller! Never ends!
