On another note, I didn't realize this was the final issue of Demon Knights. Too bad, it was a pretty good series.

It became very good once Venditti took over. Paul Cornell was a little dry for my tastes, but had some good issues, too.

So the box is evil? Or am I reading that wrong?

Yeah, it's evil. Per Constantine, if the box is ever successfully opened it'll wipe out the world-- it's basically a global-bomb.

Apparently, though, it affects everyone who tries to open it differently.
-Superman is having a harder and harder time keeping his [evil] emotions in check, and is being slowly poisoned by it.
-Vandal Savage was apparently made to relive all the evil things he's done over the years, and was left as little more than a sobbing mess.
-Dianna has *seemingly* been amped into some sort of 'Box-Warrior'.

lol box warrior.

Did Batman just fight for 28 hours straight? lol. Year Zero has been very good so far. Easily Snyder's best Batman, besides Black Mirror.

New Guardians Preview.

No Aquaman in Justice League: War [Replaced by Shazam], but he will get his own Animated Movie

I don't get that switch to be honest.

That's f*cking stupid.

Aquaman having a separate movie doesn't make up for it. It's like saying "We're replacing Wonder Woman in Justice League with Zatanna, but don't worry, she'll still have her own corner to show up in".

Yup. Aquaman had some of the best moments of the early JL run, and this movie was the ideal vehicle to grab people that would have otherwise ignored him.

You'd think that DC would want to include Aquaman in JL: War to help build-up his solo movie a bit. Use it to show fans how much better he is in current continuity.

I'm sure that their logic is "Captain Marvel won't sell a single movie by himself, so let's put him in a team movie to get more exposure".

Of all the people to take out though... Aquaman? Really? You could have taken out Hal or Barry without leaving too much of a bad impact, but Aquaman, someone who NEEDS people to see more of him?

Why even take anyone out? Just add Billy for the sake of adding Billy, the story is already going to be changed by removing Aquaman.

Love how during the interview the guy says he wants to stay true to the comics "there were dynamics that Jeff wanted to make sure we preserved. That were super important to him...uuuh..Batman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Superman and Cyborg, Shazam" (Skip to 5:08)

Haha Shazam is preserving the story? They showed Aquaman several times in the video too.

Johns is a massive Aquaman fanboy. I can't believe for a second that he was okay with it.

Frankly, it's been a couple years since the entire multiverse has been rebooted. Clearly DC is due for this long-needed change.

Can't wait for DeMatteis on Justice League Dark. Really enjoying Lemire's run, but this is where DeMatteis excels at. As for Lemire:
