Flashfact.

Haha apparently not in that book.

I knew it.

The only villains month this week I didn't like was the Creeper. So far, everything else has been good.

What I didn't get is that Darkseid supposedly stole all their powers, yet the one single God was still able to empower Highfather up to Darkseid levels...

Or why Darkseid became a complete piece of shit, when he hated how the previous Gods didn't care about them.

Inconsistencies.

Meh, still liked it, just shoddy writing though.

When the book showed Apokolips were those other planets close to it, showing how massive Apokolips was or am I seeing that wrong?

Looked like they were just far away.

Entire creative team of Batwoman leaves due to editorial interference

"We were told to ditch plans for Killer Croc’s origins; forced to drastically alter the original ending of our current arc, which would have defined Batwoman’s heroic future in bold new ways; and, most crushingly, prohibited from ever showing Kate and Maggie actually getting married. All of these editorial decisions came at the last minute, and always after a year or more of planning and plotting on our end."

Going to wait and see about the new creative team on Batwoman, but they have a huge gap to fill.

Indeed. Especially as they won't be able to do one of the logical big events, a marriage.

Also, unrelated to that, this thing from DC dropped my jaw, and not in a good way:

DC does a 'break into comics' contest for artists... where artists are supposed to draw naked, suicidal Harley Quinn.

Superman unchained is just a monster saleswise. It was number 1 for two months and only Infinity 1 usurped it this month while its number 2. Batman/Superman is number 6. I'm happy with two superman books being in top 10.

Marc Andreyko named new writer for Batwoman. I'm happy with this. I loved his Manhunter.

DC will likely take over in September. Villains month will be huge.

I just wish the quality of the Superman books was better, tbh.

To be fair, I don't think it's as horrifying as your description made it out to be.

Well, it's... a description of Harley, naked in a bathtub, described as 'Her expression is one of “oh well, guess that’s it for me” and she has resigned herself to the moment that is going to happen.'

That's pretty darn dark.

If only it'd happened under better circumstances, a proper baton pass.

For those who have been keeping up with Trinity War/Forever Evil. One thing that doesn't get discussed is HOW Sea King died. Apparently he died and we can see a energy blast type of attack on his back and Ultraman saying, "We have survived".

Who killed him? Is it the heroes of Earth 3? Or someone different like Ultraman?

Quick looks a bit goofy, but thinking about it, Quick *should* look a bit goofy! So all in all, I like their looks.

Dark, sure, but this is Harley. If you look between the lines at her relationship with Joker, it's already pretty damn dark.

Maybe it's because I've rp'd it as being pretty dark, and i'm somewhat desensitised to it. I dunno.

Trigun issue looks cool.
