Apparently the Lobo we've come to know and love is
Spoiler:
an imposter.
That said, I couldn't possibly hate the new version of him more:

Awful.
The story was meh, the new Lobo is a waste of ink and the dialogue... Oh the friggin dialogue was just so bad.
"Sorry. Not sorry."
What the f@ck is this $hit???
Are we supposed to believe that a wimp who utters this kind of cr@p is the Main Man? That he is the most dangerous bounty hunter and the baddest motherf@cker in the universe? Sipping coctails and wearing his fabulous Tron outfit?
RIP Main Man.
Lobo... they were even trying to make him talk like Lobo too...
It's just ugh.
Also, I can't believe they were just making Trigon rape people in that issue. DC knows how to do rape.
Though that story could have definitely benefitted from more than one issue. It was crazily rushed. Still, a pure Trigon issue. How many times does that happen?
Plus, was that IMPOSTER Lobo who delivered Raven's mother to Trigon?

The Trigon issue was good.
I liked it. Nothing spectacular but it built him as a threat.
Also good catch.
That bounty hunter must be Fakebo (although he seemed far more polite than Lobo normally would)
Originally posted by comicfan11I like it too, but it would have been so much better had it been longer. Some things would have made more sense too. Like is there a bunch of Trigons existing at once in different universes for example

That's who I'm talking about.
But another thing is they've done the whole imposter thing before with Lobo a couple times. And then they revealed the real him was in Hell for a while. I realize new universe, but the real him is now some absolute queer looking character. Ugh

Twilight *does* have a graphic novel... though DC's not doing too well with female readers since the reboot for obvious reasons.

Meh! Lean Lobo and body builder Lobo are going to be revealed as clones from the REEEEEEAL LOBO, which will appear in a few months. Bank it! ORIGINAILITY!
Looks like Doomsday will be quite formidable and have a big role in the DC universe.
Nrama: The solicitations make it seem like they're trying to enlist help from the gods because they know what a threat Doomsday presents. Is that the first story arc? Them dealing with that threat? And can you describe how the Justice League of America gets involved?
Soule: You know, I don't want to spoil any of it. I'll say that other heroes come into it, the gods come into it, Wonder Woman's family is involved, and you get appearances from a lot of other really great heroes in the DCU and great bad guys in the DCU.But it has so many cool twists and turns and unexpected things happening that I don't want to give you too much of a road map.
And even what it sounds what you're thinking is happening in the first issue isn't really what happens in the first issue. It's really about picking it up in a month and finding out.
Same with Zod.
